I'll only check a closed thread if the title doesn't already explain why it happened, or if there are enough posts in it to make it seem like something went down. Who doesn't like reading an argument? Especially the trivial or petty ones. Most of the time, they're funny, and those are usually the ones that get threads closed too. =D

Pretty much the same with me.

The amount of times I've woken up and seen a thread that was closed over night that I'd loved to have posted in for the lulz... I guess it's saved me and other members from trouble on occasion, so I can't complain.
