Boss wants to see me after work

I said to her "I can see you now if it suits you" and she said "no, just see me before you leave work today".

In my past experience, nothing ever good has come from that. I'm a little nervous, although I really dont know why there would be any bad news. I consider myself a good employee who helps everyone when they need it. Perhaps she wants to discuss my plans for next year since my contract is coming to an end in the next few months? Perhaps she wants to chat about something else entirely? I do have coursework that I spoke to her about some time ago about timeframes on completion, but I doubt she'd be interested in this. Now this is the same woman who I spoke to you about in another thread in which she was anoyyed that I had left without finding her (she wasn't in the spot she told me she was, and it was 20 minutes after my finish time). She has a demeanor that makes me uncomfortable, which is probably adding to the reason why I feel nervous about her asking to see me after work. The question I asked myself is always "why not now?" Ugh, 4 hours to go.

Sounds like she wants to discuss with you maybe a new project perhaps? Idk it could very well be any of those above. I doubt she would wait until the end of the day to fire you unless she doesnt have a witness with her yet. Who knows! Keep us informed, im interested in interpersonal behavior such as this so I find it amusing.

Got offered a renewal for a full time position on a full wage.

I feel really good. As well as doing I.T at the school, ill now be teaching guitar as well

I left work 16 months ago and havent worked since, the idea of going back to the kinda job i had would destroy my soul so ive been putting off getting a new job until i know what i want to do, but 16months is a long time to wait for an epiphany and funds are at an all time low

Some jobs going down the country to work for Bioware, or a branch off them, i might try that but if i was to move out of Dublin id prefer it to be another country, not bleedin Galway!! Plus id be working for EA technically, like working for the devil..
