June 18. I searched Wikipedia. I found this.

Events:
1812- USA declares war on Great Britain and Ireland, starting some war. I can't remember the name.
1815- The Battle of Waterloo. Napoleon realizes you DON'T **** WITH RUSSIA.
1923- Checker Cab puts into service their first taxi.
1928- Amelia Earhart is the first woman to fly a plane across the Atlantic Ocean.
1940- Winston Churchill delivers his famous "Finest Hour" speech. Something else that needed to be delivered on this day: my heart, as that big, beautiful British man stole it. That was pathetic. And a little creepy.
1953- Monarchy is abolished in Egypt, and it is now known as the Republic of Egypt. Blah blah blah "Walk like an Egyptian" joke.
1996- Ted Kazcynski is indicted on ten criminal counts. In other news, Ted Kazcynski is still freaking insane.

Other birthdays:
1839- William H. Seward (Union Civil War General)
1942- Roger Ebert
1942- Paul McCartney
1980- Antonio Gates

That is all. Thank you.
