Anyone love kitties!?

I never thought of myself as a "Cat person" but it seems i have collected quite a few over the years. They all come from different walks of life, and have completely different personalities.

This is Zoe (i call her zozo, or Mt. zozo from FF6, lowl) She is about 3-4 years old. She can be cute and cuddly, but she seems a bit bipolar, and can turn on you in an instant and bite you. She is still cute though.

This is lulu and jinx (lulu is from FFX) Lulu is just about a year old, she is the calico licking the black and white. Jinx is amazingly 15 years old, we have had her since she was born. Unfortunately she has bad arthritis, and has trouble getting around. And lulu came to us at about 2 weeks when her mother abandoned her kittens at a friends factory. We took her in, and i bottle fed her until she could eat on her own.



This fat guy is Milo. He is around 2-3 years old, and weighs well over 20 pounds. This picture is a bit old, so he's even bigger now than he was then. He was my brothers, but we took him in when he had to move. He almost died twice of urinary blockage, but he came through ok. He is a bit skittish, but deep down his is a giant cuddly teddy bear. He will hiss, and make a big fuss, but he will just swat at you, he doesn't bite, or claw.



And last, but certainly not least is Chewy! (short for chewbacca, my mom was a star wars fan) I call her Chew chew. She is 16 years old, and the mother of jinx. She is amazingly spry in her old age, but she is almost completely deaf. She was my very first cat, we have had her since she was a kitten. We get along very well, and she gets upset if i leave her for too long. She loves sitting up on my shoulder and nuzzling. Sometimes i swear i can here what she's thinking, and vice versa.

It can be a pain having even one cat, let alone 5 (used to be 6, but Ianan died a few months ago ) But i have done a few things to help myself out. I bought a large feeder, and waterer so i don't need to be replacing their food and water all the time. The feeder holds 5 lbs of food, and the waterer holds about 1 gallon, so i only need to change it about once a week. Also, scoopable cat litter is a must as they go through they regular stuff way too fast. Jinx requires some special care, we gotta give her pills for her joints sometimes when she gets bad. She also may have diabetes as she drinks, and urinates quite a lot. But like i said, i have had cats in my life for so long, i just love 'em.

AWWW I love cats. I have three of them ^^. They're all so wonderful, but I can't stand their stinky catbox in the closet of my computer room. It's also annoying when they hack up hairballs and vomit on the carpet, as they leave annoying stains(and it just HAS to be on the carpet.. it can't be on the tile or anything like that, oh goodness no).

I too am guilty of being a cat lover.
I had one when I was younger for a period of 7 or 8 years. I'd get another, but the parents don't like them. So when I get my own flat I guess.

They just seem much more intelligent than most other typical household pets, and they can be quite affectionate too. Amazing creatures.

I have some books with lots of kitties in. My boyfriends' mum gave me them. There's this one kitty who has the cutest feets in the world! Looks so soft and cute... I'd want to put baby socks on him.

Viden, you cats are adorable I'm a kitty fan myself, I have 2 XD. My first Cat is named C.J (Till this day I still dont why I named him that but he does'nt seem to mind lol.) I've had C.J for about 11 years now since 1997, I got him from my aunt when he was just a little kitten When I first met him I picked him up and held him in my arms but he liked working with his claws so he climbed up my shirt, (omg for a kitten his claws were so developed) and I give him a little poke on his little red nose. (C.J was so cute back then, he still is now but he's gotten a bit old but C.J is still C.J hehe, were old buddys him and I. Last but not least is my second cat, I named her Kilala ( I named her this after Sango's cat from Inuyasha xD).





Kilala has beautiful white coated fur like snow. Unlike C.J I didnt get her when she was a kitten, she was still very young through. She was a stray cat I found in my backyard back in 2005 during the Winter time. She was fighting with this other cat in the alley way behind my backyard, I scared the other cat away and Kilala seemed to start to like me. She started living in my backyard everyday, I gave her fresh cat food to eat and she seemed to trust me well enough that she would jump into my lap whenever I was sitting in the backyard and fell asleep. It was really snowing hard that winter so I made a little mini shelter for her under our grill. I placed a towel underneath, I placed a blanket over the grill, and built her a mini litterbox out of a box and filled it with litter, and placed it next to the grill. She wandered off one night and it was snowing heavily, I found her in the nextdoor neighbor's yard under snow, so I rushed her into the house and got her warm, my mom didnt want to keep her at first but she warmed up to Kilala soon enough and wanted her to live here, so we adopted Kilala into our house. Kilala has grown alittle bit since we first took her in because I feed her well, but she can be a bit mischeiveus sometimes, and she really likes being around me alot, and she loves it when you tickle her belly Of course C.J loves the extra cat company ^^.

I'm a cat lover as well. I currently have two cats and fives kittens. One's a male who's name is Izzy. The other cat is Princess who just had five kittens about a week ago. And as for the kittens, there's 4 males and 1 female who's names are Tiger, Stuart, Sinister, Theodore, and Mystery.

I'll admit, they're pretty damn cute and adorable when they rub on you and purr. I can never get mad at them even when there's times when I've come close into making coats out of them. ><

We're gonna get rid of the kittens soon and keep only Tiger. It's pretty sad though. We have them kept in my room and I've gotten pretty attached to them in such a short time. They're like my best friends.

Nah, not really but they're awesome and I'm gonna miss those little furry bastards.

There are two more cats you will see, Ianan and Kupo. They were brother and sister. Unfortunately Kupo got out and disappeared about a year ago, and Ianan died a few months ago from a bladder infection. Each should have a caption. Enjoy!

Yeah, I like cats too, heh. I remember seeing quite a few of them back when I visited Burma and went to this house...one scratched me.

...sadly, my family doesn't seem to want any pets, except for plain old goldfish that I keep forgetting even exist until I mention the word 'pets'. Oh well.

I used to have 5 cats, but when we moved house unfortunately 2 of them got run over within 2 weeks of each other Another one ran away..

So we're stuck with the smallest of the bunch, she could literally sit on your hand, and yet here she comes bringing back huge hares and rabbits to eat!!

I LOVE cats! But my mum is allergic to them...

I love cats and enjoy playing with them when I'm around my friends houses... when they come out from hidding that is lol! I like the way they are so independant... not like dogs which require so much attension. I love my dog to bits, but it gets anoying when he sits outside your room, moaning for a hug all the time. AND when he barges in your room in the middle of the night for more huggs and... kisses... ew! Its not the nicest way to wake up in the night lol!

Yeah, I can't wait til I have my own place so I can get a cat!

My family have never been found of pets but my grand-parents were. They got a black and white cat once which they named Jess. She was a beautiful cat that used to sit on my lap when I was on my GBA (yeah it was some years ago xD) and in all honesty, the only pet I can remember liking.

So since my grand-parents got it I've been a cat person over dogs (since dogs jump up my legs, bite my toes and lick my face *shudders*).

Hopefully I'll be able to get a kitten when I move out. There so cute xD

I had 2 cats when growing up called Tiggy and Spooky. Tiggy was gold tabby and spooky was black, both green-eyed brothers that my mum got a year before I was born. Spooky went missing in winter 2001 aged 13, and we had to have Tiggy put down a couple of summers ago, aged 18. When Tiggy was on his way out we got two male tortoiseshell kittens we called Izzy and Ozzy. A year later we rescued a grey starving, flea-ridden kitten from next door we called Tiddley, and a year later she had two litters of kittens. We kept a brown tabby kitten from her 2nd litter, Ziggy. Tidds is pregnant again as my parents discovered when they took her and Ziggy to the vets to get spayed- the little hussy! She'll be having a litter of 3.

I LOVE CATS

I miss my cats like hell. . It makes me sad. Here is my main cat, 7 year old Muffin (AKA Yellow, Crap, The Cat of Emptiness), who likes to sleep on my head when I'm home. Wait, there's no photos of her on the net. Ooops. Travesty. You'll just have to imagine her. Her favourite pastimes include running away from stuff, sitting on the fridge and Mungo's shoulder, and licking people and purring.

Second cat is FLUFFAHH (AKA The King of All Wales and Angelsey, The Cat of Enlightenment, The Cat of Fatness and most recently Death Cloud), a ten year old black British longhair who still has a kitten face and soft fur. If you go near her without food she'll yell at you, but will rarely attack. Her favourite pastimes include investigating new boxes and furniture, and sitting on the radiator with her face pressed flat against the wall.

Third comes Asylum Seeker, sometimes known as SEMOLIIINE. She's black and white and homeless. So, she moved in with us. She sleeps in our house and we give her food, but she's no our official animal. She comes and goes, but is extremely affectionate. We would be extremely affectionate back if she wasn't a fleabag with odd bumps all over her skin. We would take her to a vets, but she's not in pain, it's not life threatening, and she's a wandering cat, and the vets is very pricey. Asylum Seeker likes me, but not my dad and brother.


If you don't like cats, I don't like you. Simple.

I am a cat lover. We used to have three cats but one has gone missing and we havn't seen him since. He was my favourite too so it was a real shame.

My other two cats are just Domestic Short Hair and Long Hair. But they are both lovely cats. The only thing I don't like about Holly (Short Hair) Is that she catches absolutley everything and brings it to the door. Even the Vet said she is amazed at how good of a hunter she is. She is my cat and usually competes for my bed with my dog Molly. =D

But they are so cute. Especially Kittens. Awwh =]

I loves my kitties!

I currently have five cats, though at one point we had 13, but most died due to a feline Lukemia outbreak....

one is a Seal-Point Siamese, he's 33 pounds and cross-eyed. He's so cute!!! he'll slobber on you if he likes you. he also wheezes when he sleeps, but I think that's due to his weight.

My Favorite cat is a long haired Black cat named Napoleon, or as I call him, Nappy. He can catch, he can talk, and he loves feet and shoes (weird I know). He's also loves his catnip. One of the only cats I've seen space out on catnip.

We have a grey short-hair named Stormy. This cat likes to nibble on you r fingers, and talk to you. Yes, he likes to converse with humans. Granted I never seem to know what he's saying, but it's fun, nevertheless.

There's also a black and oranger kitty named Spunky, she's kind of skittish, and she'll only sit on your lap if she likes the blanket covering you. (again with the weird habits of my cats)

and finally we have the scaredy-cat named Phoenix. When we got him, he had been badly abused, and was really messed up. He even lived in our extra bathtub (the tub didn't work at all) for about six months. Now he's just content to sit in the corner and watch us, though letting himself be seen, and occasionally, petted, is a huge step forward from where he was mentally.

I like cats too, I used to dislike them but one day we had a kitten wonder in and we saved it and we kept him since that day. He was skinny and was surviving in our shed on wheat which we had in there for our chickens and ducks. My parents had seen a fluffy tail one day and Dad thought it was a bandicoot or something random and tried to get it out but failed. I was home from school one day (I hated school) and my Dad told me to come out so I did and we grabbed the 'animal' and found it was a kitten which was skin and bones. My Mum wasn't home at the time, both of my parents hated cats but after we got this one, we all changed our minds. He is a pure black cat and we named him Sooty. We bathed him and fed him and he looks a lot better now! That was three years ago or more now, maybe four.

We have another cat which is also pure black cat, he's huge. I weighed him the other day and he's 10 kilos, technically a little over that. My Dad found him on the side of the road when he was going to the markets one morning so he got him and took him home after the markets. He's a hungry cat and extremely fussy, as is Sooty.

The other cat we have is white and brown, Dad got him at the markets from some kids who were giving them away and so he grabbed this cat and when he brought him home we were like, 'Oh no, not again.' This one we named Socks and he's a lovely little fellow, very shy and Sooty dislikes him. He likes to pick on him.

So yes, I like cats.

My brother and sister in law had a beautiful gray cat but she got hit by a car one morning and it made me really sad. I remember crying that day because of it, even if it wasn't my cat.. she was awesome. She wasn't even a year old which made things worse. Poor little thing. R.I.P.

I am a cat person. Always have been, always will be. I have never lived without at least one cat. There were even cats when I was too small to remember. I guess I just love them. I used to have four cats, had to give two away, because of circumstances. The oldest cat I have is Lucky. He is around 10 now, and is pure black. We found him as a kitten, nearly starved to death. He could fit through a diamond of a fence. He used to do a trick. I would tap his back, and he would do a flip, but now he is too fat. He likes to play in the water. He is scared of other people, well sort of. He will approach someone, maybe let you pet him, maybe he will hiss and run off. The second cat I found was Oreo, he's around 9 now, and is black and white, no figure. This cat demands to be fed constantly. You move, he runs to the food bowl. He eats snack food, and his favorite is Dunkin' Sticks. He used to have a habit of trying to drink the toilet water. He also replies to singing. I have them both trained, yes trained, to go to bed at the right time, and they will come when I call them. The only reasons why they won't come is if it is storming, there are kids around, or they are asleep. The two I used to have were brothers. One was Bootsie, gray with white boots. He loved to lick people, and ate my homework, along with anything paper, or cardboard. The other was midnight, and was a big black cat with a star on his chest. This cat gave hugs. Awesome. He could also open doors. All four of my cats could open some doors, but this one was the best, as he could do it with any door. The two brothers didn't get along with the other two cats, especially Oreo. After one fight where Midnight scratched my mom in the face when she broke it up, they had to go. Sad, but they were given to good people, so I am happy about that.

So yes, I am a cat person, cats rule, and I hope to get a ton more eventually.

OMG cats are wonderful! And I absolutely love that big fat orange one. I had an orange cat once named Joker. He was the runt, and a one point I had to keep him alive via bottle feeding. He grew up an started stealing my stuff when I pissed him off. He would get pens, make-up, whole calandars and throw them under the couch. I moved the couch one day an found a whole bunch of things I thought I had lost. After that he found a new place to hide it. As he got older I got a dog, and so Joker's new game was "Throw stuff on the floor an watch the dog eat it". He especially loved to do this when I pissed him off.

I have another cat, but he doesn't stay with me. He is black an white, and his name is Cat. I have had him for almost two years. He grew up with my son and is the only cat that is not afraid of my boy lol. And I don't think I would have another cat live with me anyways. They tend to smell. lol Cute though.

That's not from the pot, that's from the sleeping pills. If you stay awake on them, it messes you up. I've done it with being high and without. It's the same either way. I heard voices and stuff. It's really messed up when you just want to sleep. Plus, I can guarantee he was exaggerating to some extent about the "jungle" and "jaguar", or there is a part of the medication equation that he left out, like taking more than he should have in an attempt to "sleep". (Note: sleeping pills do not give you restful sleep. You are just drugged. Several studies have shown this. My source, however, is the Penn & Teller: Bullshit! episode regarding the current sleep industry. Their source is the studies.)


Anyway...

I love cats. That might be obvious because I posted pictures of my cats in the PYP thread, though. >.>

I have two cats. My male cat, Johan, is a 13.5 lb. diluted calico that has some Ocicat in him and a genetic freak with 3 chromosomes (xxy- Cats need to have 2 x chromosomes in order to have 3 colors, as the traits for those colors are carried that way). I adopted him when I went on vacation to Vegas last April. We drove from Vegas to Fall River, Ma with him.... when he was only 3.5 months old. I had to hold him the whole time. It was quite the experience. As a result, he is very, very attached. He cries at the door anytime we leave.

He's also very sociable. He lets most people pet him and will readily jump up on a strange person's lap. He's a bit weird, too. He likes spicy foods and doesn't mind smells that would make most cats run, like lemon. And he's smart as hell. It makes him a bastard sometimes.

My other cat, Nina, is a 7 - 8 lb orange and white marble tabby. I have no idea what breed(s) she is and have only an estimate of her age (6 - 9 months). She is absolutely sweet, loving, and has the cutest, tiny meow. She's also a bit of a spazz and loves to play and roll around in clothes/blankets/towels/sheets. She loves my other cat, and he loves her. It's common to see them clean each other and cuddle several hours a day.

As great a kittie as Nina is, there are some problems. She seems to have issues with food and can have no wet food. The poor thing gets really sick from it. She also starts to pant and wheeze if she plays for too long. And she is a cat afflicted with the dreaded poop foot. She tends to step in her poop in an attempt to cover it up. Combine that with the rolling around in clothing, and you have a crying Sarah that has to clean several loads of laundry (again!!). She's gotten a lot better, but I still have to stalk her when she's in the litter box. I don't want that shit all over my house. Of course, now she thinks the litter box stalking is a game. >.<

Both of my cats are named after two main characters of the anime, Monster.
