Anyways, I'm 19 and some usually mistake me for being 16/17 depending on my clothes. Some have thought I'm older, like at least 23(usually when I wear plain clothes that aren't t-shirts with cartoon characters on them).

Everyone tells me I look much younger than 19... and there's a VERY scary older woman here at work that continuously hits on me, smiles, hugs me, and all of that jazz. She must be at LEAST 65. She tells me I look 15 or 16, which upsets me- because most of my life I've looked superbly younger than I actually am.

Although that is going to be good for future years... unless I age rapidly over a gap of four years. I don't drink and I don't smoke [anymore] so I don't think I have to worry about aging too quickly anytime soon

We both act within our age frames, but then different at times as well.

Do I act my age? Depends...I can act mature whenever necessary, I can act serious, I can act stupid. What's life without some fun . The problem is that even though I'm 12, I get mistaken for a younger age as well. Which is very surprising...since I'm taller than age NINE for crying out loud. When I'd go to church the priests sometimes wouldn't give me the bread. I'd have to literally point it out. Literally, as in point at it. One of the times however, I was pretty sleepy and passed off as a nine year old anyway. xD

As for acting mature, well, there is a time for seriouness and a time for fun...fun happens more. Well, at least now that I'm going to High School, teachers won't ask me which classroom is for the Year 4's...how should I know, they change every year.

I'm 21, and I think overall I do look my age. I also tend to act my age most of the time, but even though I'm 21, I wouldn't consider myself "adult" by any means other than legally. For most purposes, I never really became an "adult". I suppose eventually I will in most ways though.

I do have this habit of playing with kids though. Especially the girls. =P I have never had more fun than when I was playing with a certain little girl. So I guess you could say I act a lot younger than I really am when I'm around kids, though I never really do act stupid or immature. I just simply have fun. I don't find any fun in most "adult activities". It's just not for me.

Quite frankly, I don't care how old people are. I care about who they are and what they're like.

Haha, I know that! My Andrew is 22, but people think he looks about 16/17. Personally I think he looks around his age, but he has told me about times he's needed an ID.

It's the other way around for me. I took up a mystery shopper job for a little while and bought fireworks and booze when I was fifteen. Of course, I wasn't allowed to keep them.

I've known a few people that think I look older than him, but I'm not having any of it! >=[

I'm actually okay with people thinking I'm a little bit older, or treating me like an older person, because I can be really mature, and prefer being around mature people most of the time. Though I do hav a really childish side to me I laugh at any RaNdOm shit, I get hyper over the most RaNdOm shit, and I can act like a complete idiot with my mates. I guess it jus depends where I am and who I'm with, and what scenerio I'm in. .

Do I look it? I assume older. When people ask me how old I am and I tell them 21, they're instantly surprised. It's a variety of things... my height, the way I present myself in real life, my career choice, I'd assume my facial hair, ect.

I'm rarely, if ever, carded, and if so it's only when I go to the "we card everyone regardless" places. I've been carded once in my life buying cigarettes, and maybe 3 times buying alcohol at grocery stores.

Do I act my age? My alcohol consumption aside, no, not really. I act, if anything, much older. My outlook, the way I tediously organize my life and plan my future, the way I prioritize, and the fact that my career is a huge deal to me are not normal 21-year-old behavioral patterns.

I am 22, and I grew up around grandparents, uncles, and aunts, so I started out as though I were 40. I can easily go back to that, but I'm trying to enjoy life, so I probably act child-like most of the time as a way of channelling the lost time. Maturity is there when needed, but unfortunately, I picked up the bad memory trait of my elders, so I can't be counted on to remember what happened last week.

I like to think I act my age, maybe a little bit more mature as I met my friend's girlfriend the other day and you wouln't believe that I'm only one year older than her. She is ridiculously immature and loves the whole "she said that he said that you said that she said that I said that you said that you've been sleeping with my boyfriend"....wha? grow up dammit lol.

I still get ID'd but it's getting bad in this country for that anyway at the minute. Bloody chavs ruining it for everyone else.
