I'll be going to a few concerts soon, and was wondering if anyone has had experience with ear plugs? If so, what are the best kind? I have hearing problems, so my Doctor advised me wear ear plugs when neccersary...

I think I'm beginning to understand. An answer from the Planet, the Promised Land...I think I can meet her...there.
My dad has some hearing issues himself (too much rock music, so now he has ringing in his ears when things are too loud) and has gone through several pairs of ear plugs looking for good ones. The ones he has now are his favorite so far. He can't remember a brand name, but he found them in a Sports Academy by the hunting section. They're orange and have like a Christmas tree or screw look. Kind of like this: http://www.odec.ca/projects/2006/mcph6m2/earplugs.jpg
A little different, but that's the idea. He says they're comfortable, block out plenty of sound, and they don't fall out when he works out with them in.
Curious?

I don't know how helpful I will be, since I only worn earplugs once in my life, but I went ahead and looked up some earplugs for concerts and came across this:

I hope I at least gave you some sort of idea of what to look for.

My dad works in a High noise enviornment. I always use the cheap-o ones his work provides, they work nicely for me. Used them in conjuntion with ear covers for shooting, and go to conserts using them, the point is if you get em for free, they're good, but a more reusable pair might be something if you want to keep them. Though if you tend to loose things, the cheap-o ones work, and you can buy a large box of em.
And in other news, Today is Nintendog adoption day. Remeber that all remaining puppies will be euthanized at the end of the day so to make your selections before 7:30.
