Did anybody else watch the Thundercats? Or has anybody else bought the rerelease DVD box-sets? Who was your favourite Thundercat? Who was your favourite bad-guy? Would Mumm-Ra school Skeletor? Would Lion-O school He-Man? Is there nothing the Sword of Omens couldn't do? Seriously, I just want to know.

My answers to all of these questions are...

1. It would be rather pointless, and misleading, if I asked that question and I actually didn't watch the Thundercats. Thus, yes. Yes I did.

2. See 1.

3. Either Cheetara or Panthro. Obviously.

4. Mumm-Ra (again, obviously) or Hammerhand. Hammerhand! HAMMERHAND!!

5. Mumm-Ra would kick Skeletor's bony ass. Seriously, does Skeletor have a stupid-looking DOG and a PYRAMID OF EVIL? No, don't think so.

6. Lion-O = actual superhero.
He-Man = Guy with magic sword.
Do the math.

7. I don't remember the Sword of Omens having an adorable toothpick, but otherwise...

(btw, yes, I know exactly how nerdy this is. Thankfully, I can blame it alllll on nostalgia.)

Hell yeah I did. Greatest series ever, I even own the shirt!

No sadly to say I haven't but it will be a purchase I make when my son gets a little older

Panthro was by far the best not only was the guy huge but he also had mechanical skills

I loved the trio - mumm-ras henchmen - stupid and funny

Good point: it could turn into a pole vault, shoot laser beams, allow you to see anything in the world, survive being broken into bits and being sucked into impenetrable force-fields, but never have I seen a pink Sword of Omens...

Man, I remember this anime!
I used to watch it when I was a kid!!
There was lots of characters but I remember the main one who was shouting "Thunder...Thunder...Thunder cats..ooo" or something like that and then all of the characters would rush to the place where he is...That's all...That's what I remember

Skeletor & He-Man had Panthor & Battlecat (respectively) though. If you don't find those two awesome at least, your power of observation are in question.

Thundercats had an awesome theme song.

But, anyways, I was always more of a G.I. Joe fan. Nothing beats Snake Eyes.
