...Wrong forum.... Why did you put this in Gaming Media when this is ANIME?
FLCL. A 6 episode anime series that is confusing to most, yet is gold to others. Also, the 2 volume manga, showing the darker, and more controversial side of Fooly Cooly.
I was wondering if anyone had read/seen this, and what your thoughts are of it. Personally, I love the artwork of the manga, the brutal simplicity, yet the designwork. I love it that one scene could be full of blurred artwork, hard to make out, then the next be as clear as a crystal. If there could be any art form I could replicate in drawing, it would be this medium.
Anyways, back to the main discussion. What are your thoughts about the anime/manga? Which do you prefer over the other? Is there anything specific you love about the series?

Crazy anime. I don't like many, but this is one of my favorites. I kind of wish there were more episodes, but at the same time I'm not quite sure what else they'd put in them. The six they did were amazing, and hilarious the entire way through.
I read the manga a long time ago, it was cool but I prefer the anime.
And no, I did not watch this on Cartoon Network. I watched it before it came out like a real anime otaku. What now?
Whoops, sorry Sheena. I must've had the Animation Corner's section minimized, forgotten about it, and went to gaming media instead. Haha, my bad.
Yeah, I agree that there isn't much more they could put into the series. I think, even though it was short, that it was tied up well enough to keep me happy. I personally liked Canti, he was the greatest.

I also like the simplicity of this manga but frankly some parts are messy done and it's hard to define who said what or what they did. Surely not the best manga I've read, far from it but it was a pleasant change and I'll be sure to buy anime as soon as I can.

Of course I like Foooly Cooly, as you can tell from my Avi. It's really entertaining because it's so random and the story is "portrayed" is a unique way. If you didn't know any better, you would think the story line is about something completely different
Also I liked the Pillow's before I even saw the Anime, so that just made me like it even more. The Style is different from most of the "Normal" Anime like when it randomly goes into Manga or, I think there was a part where it looked like South Park XD It was during the last episodes lol
After I saw it for the first time, it made me want a Vespa, and a red bunny suit.

I actually liked the art style of the manga, the pen drawn style. Yeah, at times it's really uncomprehendable, and at times it was messy, but I really enjoyed the way it brought your eyes to the page.
Like, Naota in the center would be all clear, and defined, while everything else around him was blurred to the point of noncomprehension. It allowed the artist to choose which details were important, and which ones he could mulligan on.
