Yes, he never used his full power, I forgot to note that. I assume that SSJ3 Gokuh using his full ultimate power would range around 425,000,000.

Well, after the Freezer saga the last power level that is proven by Akira Toriyama is SSJ Gokuh with 15,000,000. You see that in the Trunks saga I said that SSJ Gokuh had 31,000,000. I posted that because when a saiya-jin recovers from a near-death injury(Gokuh was pretty beaten up) the power of the user increases, so the power could have been when he recovered around 21,000,000 or so, its an estimate, then we go to the planet that Gokuh was on, even though he said that he didn't trained, he did had to do a mental training to learn the Instant Movement Technique a.k.a. Instant Transmition, and mental training does increases Ki(its Piccolo primary type of training: meditation) so judging from that, SSJ Gokuh's power at his arrival on planet Earth ranged around 31,000,000. This is also proven when, with only a finger, blocked every attack that SSJ Trunks launched at him.

Those kind of things were analyzed and came to those conclutions.

Also I need some help finding high-quality Shenlong(the green thin one) pics, If anyone knows a good site where I can find them I'll really appreciate it. I've searched everywhere on the web and I can't find anything, just the dragons from GT. What for? I'm changing the name when I have enough gils and I want to make a banner with the pics.

ya that was funny and if i recall in a dbz movie it think it was one of the brolly's 18 storms mr. satan(hercule in english version) house gets stormed and thrashed by 18 because she never got the money(they never show that in the series)

And yeah..I'm pretty annoyed about all the editing they have done on the original Japanese episodes...damn..editing beer away just sucks. Editigin the blood away sucks even more...damn. In the original episodes Trunks slashed Freeza in a lot of parts...which you saw floating around...bloody. In the ones I saw you see nothing...just him being killed...also King Cold was slammed against the wall with a hole in his body..all bloody as well.

And nudity....Scorp hates to see that getting edited..whehe...poor Bulma ^^

Well, it looks like I have a variety of things to touch upon today, so I might as well get started, but first, I'd like to take the time out and wish FFSaiya-Jin a happy belated birthday ^_^ I've taken the liberty of donating 270 gil to you, so that you can get that name change you want (yeah, I was thinking of changing my name, too, but I procrastinate too much, so it probably won't get done for a long time, anyway). Also, I'm in the process of looking for Shenlong pics. I'll attach one, and upload some more to my site, but more on that later on.

Well, firstly (that’s a word, right ) , Mr. Satan's name is pronounced like the Devil, but in all fairness, FUNi left his name as such in the uncut versions of the dub. Also, I don't know if you were saying the same about Videl's name, but while her name can be rearranged to spell out d-e-v-i-l, it wasn't originally written as so (basically, it was just another of Toriyama's puns).

While I will agree that the amount of editing was appalling in the beginning of the series more than the rest, it was done to fit TV standards. Your anger, however, is misplaced. Yes, FUNi does do some butchering, the example you gave was done by Ocean Group, who dubbed the beginning of the series. You'll be glad to know that FUNi will be redubbing those first 50-something episodes once Pioneer's license expires, (I believe this August) and it will be released uncut.

Anyway, Legacy of Goku II has been out for over a week now, but I unfortunately won't be getting it for a while. I've been slacking in playing Pokémon Ruby (only one badge to go, though^^) and as such, I've already missed out on buying Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, so I must buy that before Legacy of Goku II. If anyone does buy it, it would be great if they could post a review.

Lastly (because I'm short on time, I didn't have time to get everything done I wanted to) a new discussion question (even though I haven't' answered the last one, I'll do both next time).

Sticking with what Anamaniac brought up, what are some edits you found to be unnecessary and/or just plain moronic?

My avatar is the same as the pic that you attached so I kinda need some other pose and I know there is because in the episodes and the movies you see many poses. I could even be comfortable with that scene at the start of "Rock the Dragon" where you con see Shenlong in the distance and the animals looking at it in awe, or even Shenlong with his red eyes glowing, anything like that would help very much. But thanks SSJ 4 Goku for your efforts on the pic, its really appreciated.

2)You'd better get Aria of Sorrow, bitch. Plus, it shouldn't take you that long to complete. The game itself is very quick(as compared to CotM), but to do everything(including getting the Chaos Ring and doing Boss Rush mode..Positron Rifle..yuss!)..it took me about 40 hours...probably less

And I deal with cuts. It's like..yeah..there could have been blood there. Big whoop, I don't really care.

I've seen all movies, I saw #9(the Pirates and Bojack) and #11(Bio-Brolly) just last week(the ones that I had missed). I can say that #9 was really good, specially when Gohan goes SSJ2(the fight looks very familiar to the one against Cell, very creepy), but I can't say the same with #11. I don't know, I just don't like the idea of having a Brolly clone that can be defeated by Krillin, Goten, Trunks, Android #18, and........rain and salty water?!? Thats a little odd.

Well, I see the discussion of movies has given rise to a new discussion question, making me have to deal with three to answer now (I never answered my last two >_<).

First off, let me make a few announcements. First, for all you PS2 owners, Budokai 2 is set to come out December 9. If anyone's seen screen shots of the game, it looks ten times better than its predecessor (in terms of graphics, as they've shifted to cell-shading). Also, Budokai (the first one) is set for an August release (I forgot the exact date) for the GameCube (late birthday present for me, maybe ^^).

Also, we will finally be getting some episodes besides the Buu/Fusion/Kid Buu Saga's on CN!

According to CN's website, starting July 14, they'll be playing "Calling The Eternal Dragon," followed by "Gohan- Defeat your dad" on the fifteenth. It looks like we're starting with the Ginyu Saga. It may not be the Saiyan Saga like I had hoped for, but (1)It's a change from the norm (2) We get to laugh at some of the earlier edits ^^

Speaking of edits, I guess that's a good lead-in to one of the questions I have to answer. As for edits I thought were ridiculous, I'd say the Saiyan Saga had the worst edits. I mean, the Beer and smoking are prime material for CN to edit (hey, even now, digitally re-edit Saito's cigarette into a toothpick on Rurouni Kenshin ). The worst thing, though would be really early on, when the air plane gets blown up, and Tien or Yamcha (I forgot who >_<) says "it's ok, I see parachutes" (with regards to the people in the plane).

I mean, the plane got blown up. It was a passenger plane--did everyone have parachutes and possibly have ESP, enabling them to anticipate the attack and jump out of the plane safely? According to CN, they might ^^.

Another one I didn't like was the editing out of death, and the word "hell." Sure, they still do it (they let it slip a few times occasionally, though. Shishio and Sanosuke have said it a few times on Kenshin, and even today on Cyborg 009 it was said, so they're either slipping up, or letting loose. Personally, I hope it's the latter ^^). Even if they wanted to edit out, they could have changed it to "heck" in stead of telling people they would go to "the next dimension" >_<

Anyway, I guess I've spent enough time on that, and it's time for me to move on to the next question, who is my favorite female DB character.

I would have to say mine is Bulma, but not for the same reasons of, oh, say Scorpian (haven't seen him for a while though--wonder where he's hiding ^^). First of all, if it weren't for her running into Goku, we may not have him for a main character. Second of all, she's a technological genius. If wasn't for half of her inventions, imagine how far behind the Z crew would be (though I have to admit, the Dragon Radar does kind of cause them problems later on down the road for anyone who's seen GT ^^)

Lastly, with regards to movies (yeah, I made that last answer kind of short--seeing as I had three questions to address, I figured I'd have to cut down on the length a little^^). I've seen almost all of them.

I've seen all the DBZ movies, the two television specials, and the GT television special. The only ones I haven't seen are the (four, I believe) DragonBall ones. I think I've explained this before, but since Anamanaic is new, (and was the one who asked the question) I'll explain it again.

Several years ago, when I first got into the series, I rented subtitled VHS tapes from a local store of mine. In doing so, I rented the entire (uncut) DBZ series, the specials, and GT (as I mentioned before). However, as they didn't have DragonBall at the time, I never rented it, and as such, I didn't watch it until it began airing on Toonami a few years back. Because of that, I haven't seen those movies, and also haven't seen DragonBall beyond what CN has shown.

With regards to my favorite movie, as everyone here knows, it's Movie 8, which is set to come out here in the States in less than two months. Brolly is my favorite Saiyan, (I even have a site dedicated to him ^^) and as such, the movie showcasing his first appearance is my favorite. I tend not to talk much about the Brolly movies (mainly 8 and 10; as Shenlong mentioned, 11, while featuring the essence of Brolly wasn't the best, as you can tell they were trying to "milk the cash cow" so to speak of the Brolly story) because (as many people here also know) I tend to get very carried away with talking about them. In case you haven't noticed here in the short time you've been with us, my posts tend to run quite long (hence the reason for my smaller post count despite being here so long) and added rantings about Brolly would only add to the length.

That being said, I'll shift focus. I've also mentioned several times The Rebirth of Fusion: Goku and Vegeta! is another personal favorite. Janemba was not only one of the cooler enemies, but Gogeta is also quite cool himself

EDIT: Shenlong, I actually found three more Shenlong pictures, but they were too big to attach here. When I get the chance, I'll upload them to my storage site for you to look at (I don't think it'll be anytime this week, though, as I'm extremely pressed for time the entire week--in fact I'm lucky to even be posting now). I just wanted to let you know I haven't given up, though it is getting harder to find them (you were right--a good deal of pics are either Shenlong Gundam from Gundam Wing, or the DarkStar Dragons from GT ^^)

I think I've done quite enough rambling for today, though, and since not many people have elaborated on the movie topic, I'll leave it at that for now (unless someone else is feeling energetic and wants to come up with a new discussion topic ^^)

hi...ya i saw the jamemba movie and janemba is super cool (well not the fat version at least), the greatest parts...Hitler comes back in tanks and such...all the baddies from the past including freiza come back(gohan takes one thrust and poof hes gone...literally poof)i have a review for Ledgend of Goku II...my cuzin got it (and the first one) and i beat the first one adn im on the second...

(it starts from future trunks [when future gohan gets killed] turns ssj) and goes to androids and cell...ive made it to the part of finding dr geros lair...and u have to get through a barrier by destroying 3 generators ..which is really hard...anyways if i rate this game and its predecessor on a scale of 1- 10...Legacy of Goku=7...Legacy of Goku II ...8.7....its a better game and its fun and VERY addicting..........unfortunatly it does have a downside--u cant fly at will--but its one of the few bads but its nothing compared to the goodies..im hooked...

First off, news has been extremely slow--I suppose why much isn't happening here either. I hope everyone's been remembering to watch DBZ on Toonami the last two two weeks, because they're *gasp* finally showing something besides the Buu saga! They started last week a little after Captain Ginyu switched bodies with Goku, so we're getting some nice, vintage DBZ action ^_^

Anyway, no, I still haven't gotten Legacy of Goku II, because I still haven't gotten Castlevania: Aira of Sorrow yet (I wanted to get that one first--I'll probably buy it with money I get for my birthday, which is coming soon *coughJuly30cough* ^^ ) I'm still pleasantly occupied with Pokémon Ruby (around 34 hours of play, and still going strong--even though I've gotten all eight badges, I still have a good deal of training and whatnot to do before I challenge the Elite Four, but anyway, back on topic).

I don't have time to think up a new discussion question, (anyone else can feel free to, if they want to, though ^^) but to make today's post worth while, I've decided to grant Usagy's wish, though it wasn't easy!

I had to scroll through 130 pages of old posts I have randomly saved from this club on Microsoft Word, and wouldn't you know it, the summaries just happened to be at the very bottom (around page 119 or so--I have them in order from most recent to least) >_<.

Unfortunately, I didn't have the first of my 6 or 7 summaries saved, but it was only summarizing the first episode (yeah--that was the one I took a long time explaining because it was important, yet apparently not important enough for FUNi to skip it, along with the other first 16 episodes ).

Actually, I think this is a good idea to post it, since some of the newer members probably didn't see it, plus older members probably forgot it...So without further adieu, here's part II of my GT summary ^^:

Anyway, I figured I'm finally going to get to the Part II of the GT summary I started (Don't worry, I'll remember to condense a little more this time and not take the whole time talking about the first episode-_-') But, hey, it's the first episode! It's important (yeah, there's my excuse...go for it!)

Anyway, we last left off when Goku and company found out from King Kai that if the Black DragonBalls weren't collected within a years time, the Earth would explode (talk about a cliffhanger first episode!) Goku decides to meat up with his friends back on Earth to fill them in. (Actually, there's a pretty funny part here....Chi Chi gets angry because Goku is playing a horrible trick on her by making her thing he hasn't aged and that he looks so much younger than her)(which is actually true, since Saiyans don't age nearly as fast as humans). The family expresses their concern that they don't like the idea of Goku going off into space all alone (especially, now more than ever--him being young again, and all^^) So Gohan volunteers to go with him. Pan (remember, now...I said this a few posts back--before the end of DBZ, Gohan and Videl marry and have Pan) wants to go, but Hercule (her Grandfather) and the rest of the family don't like the idea. Everyone then goes on to rebuild Bulma's old Space Ship (except for Pan--who actually dents the ship in anger by kicking it^^).

We meet up with Vegeta, (Stop! Fashion time^^) who's now spiffed up new attire includes tight Jeans, a Tank Top with a vest over it, and a Moustache, but Don't worry Vegeta fans--He eventually shaves it off because Bra (the second child born to Vegeta and Bulma, also born at the very end of DBZ) tells him it looks stupid. He heads on over to meet up with a "All Grown Up" Trunks who's now President of Capsule Corp. (though it seems like he doesn't like the job much--he's seen trying to "escape" out a window from his office at the beginning of the episode and now, when Vegeta walks in). Now knowing of Goku's plans, he tells Trunks he and Goten should go along with Goku for the experience (Bulma noted earlier that the ship was a lot smaller than she remembered--it could only hold three people)

Fast forwarding to Launch time (yup...still in episode 2 >_<, don't worry, it'll speed up in a minute) Goku and Trunks are heading to the Ship, but what they don't realize is Goten is on the phone with a date (we see in GT that for Goten, dating is more important than training). Pan ended sneaking on the ship instead of him, and the three were off!

(now time for some real condensing...) The crew travels around in Space, making friends along the way (Goku, being the friendly guy that he is^^). Along the way, they meet up with a Robot who eats their Dragon Radar for energy -_- (that could set them back, especially with that 1 year time limit on their heads!). They end up befriending him, and Trunks asks him to accompany them on their journey. He has a few main purposes: (1) To act as the Dragon Radar (2)Seeing as he can talk and all, it's good to have someone who can alert them of upcoming danger nearby, and (3) for comic relief.

Anyway, after the trio gathers all 7 DarkStar Balls, they head back to Earth, happy to finally be back home (this is episode 28 now--more on the mix up later). He gives the balls to Dende so that he can make his wish, but the gang is greeted by unwelcome news...it seems Baby, (also known as Bebi, which I think I'll call him from now on to avoid a mix up of people getting confused by me saying the word "Baby"^^).... a character they originally met up with Bebi on a planet back in episode 21(there! now can you all understand the mix up? I got confused, thinking the Bebi saga started with that episode 21 because that's where he first appeared...it starts with episode 29!)

Anyway, I think I got sidetracked there, so I'll restart...it seems Bebi has come to Earth, and planted eggs inside every person there, so that everyone on the entire Earth Will be his slave.....

Well, look at that! Another cliffhanger to end on^^. Now everyone's caught up with Episodes 1-28. I'd say that's pretty good, wouldn't you.

I figure I'll do one summary per post since that's the way I did them when I originally typed them up all those months ago. I also realize that I never did the last part (or two) of my summary, summarizing the final saga, so to culminate at the end of my re-posting the old summaries, we'll conclude with a brand new summary--the final saga in GT. Woo!

That being said, I' guess I'll be heading off now. Like I said, if anyone has any suggestions for a new discussion question (or anything else to do to keep us a little more active -_-) feel free to post it.

La la la. I've been not at home for the past 3 weeks. Before that, I was stupid, too, and got an X-Box instead of a Game Cube or a PS2 (I regret that, kind of. However, I love Morrowind, so... Fable's coming out sometime soon, too. I could also get Halo and the upcoming Halo 2, and there are a lot of multi-platform games that are good. Baldur's Gate; Dark Alliance is a lot of fun. Not sure if its on anything else, actually. Capcom Vs. Marvel 2 is, though, and so is Gauntlet; Dark Legacy. I wanna get Capcom Vs. SNK eo and Phantasy Star Online-unless you HAVE to play it on the net.) Anyways, it sounds like I'll be missing out on Budakai. Boy, am I dumb sometimes. I could've at least gotten a game boy advance, but no, I gotta spend all my money on dvd's and CD's, etc. Anyways...

La la la. Remember that movie? When did you say it was coming out, J? Like 2005, or something? You also said something about Nappa being played by Goldberg (a rumor around wrestling forums, apparently; I steal from you! Heh.) Jackie Chan as Vegeta, but I don't know about that choice... Jackie Chan's too much of a nice guy these days. Maybe he could be Goku. But what about Trunks , etc? I really don't know. Maybe the lady who played Electra in DareDevil would be good as Videl or something, eh? Although which series is the movie going to be covering? Sounds more along the lines of the saiyan saga, eh? Or will there be more then one? Almost seems like there will be, eh? Unless they do the Hollywood thing and decide to kill the bad guy in the frist movie, which would be dumb.

Anyways, who would be good as those characters? Who'd be a good Yamcha? Hmm... are they mostly going to be caucasian(sp) or asian actors? (I'm saying just those two because the characters in DBZ usually had lighter skin tones, at least the humans and saiyans, etc, unless they were clearly black, or they were some alien thing.) Although I always thought of and pictured most the characters as caucasian, although that might just be because of the fact that it was translated to English, and asians usually have dark hair, whereas a lot of the characters had bright hair, although they clearly had Japanese customs, like the monks shaving their heads, etc. Maybe the guy from karate kid as Master Roshi (Mr. Miagi, was it? Or am I just dumb?) I really didn't give much thought into the speculations when this first came around. Wonder why... prolly cuz I'm a lazy bastard, eh? Anyways... I think I might be done being dumb for one night. Maybe if someone posts again tomorrow, or I think of more. I'm being tired and lazy now, though.

Bah! I must remain active here--I've been slipping up

Anyway, yeah, Telegraph stole my news and reported it. Recently, on a wrestling website, someone was talking about the wrestler Goldberg and said something along the lines of "Speaking of Goldberg, he's been contracted to play Nappa in the upcoming live-action DBZ movie." I haven't heard any official announcements by FUNi, Fox, or anyone else, my best guess is that (unless this person knows something we don't) that he merely got that from some fan site.

News-wise, nothing's new...Movie 8 is only three weeks away now, so us DBZ fans in the states won't have to wait much longer for the arrival of Brolly ^^

Speaking of that, I found it interesting when I read FUNi's description of the movie. In the official newsletter I get, they spelled Brolly's name with two "L's" (which is the right way in my opinion, though we've already been over that^^). I just found it interesting that, despite the title of the movie, people at FUNi are still spelling it with two "L's" ^_^

Anyway, before I move on, (as per Usagy's request) here is part III of my old summary of DragonBall GT:

To recap what's happened so far, Pilaf appeared, wished Goku back to a kid (accidentally) and Goku, Pan, and Trunks went into outer space to get the BlackStar DragonBalls back, to wish Goku back to an adult. Once they return to Earth with the 7 DarkStar Balls, Dendé informs them Bebi has come to Earth and enslaved the minds of all it's inhabitants...

Anyway, Goku decides to go up against Bebi (of course, you were expecting? ), who has "planted himself" so to speak inside of Vegeta (pics to come--he looks pretty interesting) He goes Super Saiyan 3, but since he's just a kid now, his body doesn't know how to hold all that energy, which in turn made him loose the battle...So anyway, he goes off to train some more so his body will be able to hold the energy....(fast forwarding) So now he's finished his training and goes up against him again, so he teleports himself to the Planet Bebi has now made that looks exactly like his old one named (sheesh....need brushing up of Japanese) either "Plant" or "Fruit" (though on a more ironic note... **Time for a Social Studies lesson, DBZ style!**, Bebi's people are Tuffles, which are fruit, remember, all the Saiyans are named after Vegetables...long ago, the Tuffles battled for their planet, but lost it to the Saiyans, who as we know, renamed it Planet Vegeta...in essence, the battle was a battle of Fruits vs. Vegetables )

So anyway, (got a little off thack there^^) Goku goes up against Bebi-Vegeta again, and looses again. Goku gets so angry that he can't do anything to save the word, he transforms into Golden Oozaru (looks just like Oozaru, but, uh......golden>_<). In this form, he's unstoppable, and he's going crazy....Pan flies right up in front of him and cries and begs for him to stop (now comes one of the coolest looking moments in all of GT, possibly one of my favorite in the entire series).....

Goku, still in his Golden Oozaru form, looks up into the sky and as he stares into the Earth a Golden Aurora engulfs his entire body as lightning bolts shoot across the sky. The cliff he was standing on crumbles underneath his feet, and when the dust finally settles, we see Goku in the new Super Saiyan 4! (more to come on that scene later). (I don't think I need to describe himself, do I? If anyone is interested in seeing what it looks like, head on over to my site. The sad thing is it's a site dedicated to Brolly, but I think there might be more SSJ4 Goku pics there than Brolly pics-_-', and they're in the Misc. DBZ pics1 section, again, for anyone's interested). Pan tells him she wishes for him to save the planet, and he responds by telling her (something along the lines of) "In this form, I will be able to stop him"

Anyway, Goku, now Super Saiyan 4, does battle yet again with Bebi-Vegeta... Goku is about to win, but Bulma steps in with a machine she invented to bring Vegeta's tail back (remember, one of the requirements to go Oozaru is you must have your tail still in tact, but Yajirobe ut it off way back in the Saiyan Saga)...(can anyone see where this is going? ) With his tail back, Vegeta-Bebi goes Golden Oozaru!
He goes even more crazy than Goku when he was in that form...he goes stamping around and smashing everything-- he was literally destroying his own planet! Kibitoshin (incase anyone didn't know, the Supreme Kai and Kibito fuse with the Pottara earrings--that's their name), who was training with Goku earlier, goes to Kami's Palace and finds a water that's able to remove all evil within a person's body. He takes it to (let's call it) Plant (the planet) and sprinkles it over all the people who Bebi planted the eggs in (because it made them all into his slaves). SSJ4 Goku (no, not me^^) finally kills Bebi... when he tires to escape in his space ship, Goku gives it a good Kamehameha and blows him up....

Kibitoshin removes all the evil on Earth by sprinkling that water on it, removing all the Eggs Bebi planted, but wait! Earth is about to blow up! What to do?!

Goku and Kibitoshin start to teleport everyone onto Planet Plant. When they finally get everyone there, they realize one person's left back on Earth......Piccolo!(sad story time, everyone, actually one of the most touching in the series ) Piccolo contacts Gohan telepathically and tells him that he is going to stay on Earth when it blows up so that the Dark Star DragonBalls can never be used again. He says that along as he lives, anyone can snatch them up and use them for whatever purpose they want. He goes on to tell Gohan how proud of him he is and how strong he (Gohan) has become. He wishes them good-bye as the Earth blows up...

When Dendé is able to use his DragonBalls again, he wishes back Earth, and all the people to be brought back there....

And that's how we end today....we'll continue tomorrow with
Part IV (which, I'm telling everyone in advance, it's short...it's only one episode--another Tenkachi Budoukai tournament, and I figured it would be good for a break-- besides, it doesn't really fit in anywhere, anyway)

Goldberg would definitely be the best Nappa, but I still think they need to get Mr. T in the movie somehow. I pity the foo who doesn't agree with me!

Beyond that, like I've said before, the editing isn't that big of a deal. So, one of the characters isn't named bra, and there wasn't blood in a few scenes. The edits that really bug me are Kenshin...like when Sano calls Saitoh a dumbhead, but I digress. I can deal with the removal of cussing and blood, but please just...don't use dumbhead.

Anyway, I actually have some news, though it's been floating around for a few days now. Actually, I posted it in the Anime Corner, (Se Selonia, technically, but I prefer the old names, as they were more self-explanatory) but, as I don't know how many people visit that part of the boards, you may have missed out on the news. For one, finally get new episodes of DragonBall! As everyone here probably knows, I've been really looking forward to seeing the Piccolo Daimaoh Saga (as I never saw DragonBall like I did via subs like I did with Z and GT). Also, many fans consider this Saga to be one of the best out of all three DragonBall series, so I think we'll all have some fun watching it ^^

Also, for four weeks, there will be some DBZ movies and specials on that CN hasn't aired yet. Personally, I'm glad about this, too. Seeing as I never bought the first 6 movies on DVD (7-13 are much better in my opinion, so I'll be buying those). That being said, I've actually never seen the dubbed versions of movies 4 and 6, (I think...between movies 4, 5, and 6, I only saw one of them dubbed) so this will be a new experience of sorts for me.

Then, after those four movies air, starting October 3, DragonBall GT will begin airing on US television! Unfortunately, they've announced that they'll be starting with episode 16 like they did with the DVD release, but they've "reassured" us that we'll eventually get the first 15 episodes in the future

In any case, some is better than none, as GT will finally be airing here. It's actually funny...on another (anime) messageboard I'm on, I'd say about 90% of the people never saw GT, and they were all wondering what it was about, but we all know better, because everyone here has read SSJ4 Goku's summaries ^_^

...And now we come to the next installment of my GT summary (based on my last two, it's not even all that summarized >_<) Now, I realize everyone's probably going to run away now in fear of another long summary, but have no fear! Part IV will only be based on episode 41, and now without further hesitation....DragonBall GT summary, Part IV!

Not going to bother with the re-cap anymore...mainly for the fact that the re-cap will take up a while (which could be spent typing the actual summary) and, in this part's case, it would end up being longer than the summary itself!

Anyway, we last left off with the World being wished back, and what better way to celebrate than with a World Martial Arts Tournament! That's right! we have the (insert number here) Tenkachi Budoukai taking place, with Goku entered in the Kids Division, and Pan entered in the Adults. It's basically focused on those two, so lets take a look at Goku first, shall we?

Nothing much to Goku's run. He gets eliminated right away. when the kid he's against tricks him into talking to him and while they're talking, he bumps into Goku and tickles him until he goes out of bounds...so much for Goku this time^^

Pan, on the other hand does much better. She racks up win after win until the announcer asks her how she felt if she ended up against her Grandfather (Mr. Satan entered too) She ends up dropping out to the competition out of fear of that. Then we get to the final round where it's Uub (yup, he's back! He didn't just leave after the first episode) against Mr. Satan. Uub is about to win, but then (touching moment coming up again) Mr. Satan is the Earth's "hero" (so to speak) and if he was defeated everyone would look down upon him (Mr. Satan, that is), so he lets Mr. Satan punch him out of the ring, and Mr. Satan is the Winner (reminiscent of DBZ, or what^^)

Well, I guess that's about all for now, but since the last discussion topic was a dud, anyone else care to think of something to keep us lively?

In case anyone can't come up with something (I'm hoping that isn't the case, though)...I guess we could just discuss our feelings about the new Toonami line-up...or something (yeah, I'm a little lazy today, but I'm sure we can think of something to talk about, right? ^^)

You mean the one we're supposed to eventually have the RP on, but half of us are hardly active on these forums any more, and the other half probably have forgotten about, or are just too lazy to ever even discuss it anymore? ...I don't know. Heh. Of course, you didn't ask me, you asked J. However, J will probably tell you that its made next to no progress since the last time you were here, unless something's been done with it in a month and a half (which very well could be the case. That's a lot of time.) However, the last time I asked J about it, he said "feh." Okay, so that's my word, but he said something along the lines of that, anyway. From the look of the club, I'd say I'm right (its not been talked about for like 4 months in this club.) I think the last thing we were discussing were the the colors for the site. I don't remember what the conclusion was. I think like blue and orange and red, or something (although the orange could just be wishfull thinking by me.) We also talked about a plot with the fusing...phusing... ...fphusing (sp) of time, some how, and planet Earth exploding early on, etc., etc. We also thought the villain should be something not controled by any of us, and blah blah blah. Then Spike said he didn't think we should go in with a plot in mind. La la la. Spike's the greatest RPer ever. No one should question his judgement. He's far superior to any of us in any way. We should all grovel(sp) at his feet, or something. Anyways...

La la la. I'd like to go Super saiyan. I'd like to know the instant transmission technique(sp) Goku does, too. I could go to California any time I wanted, and bug my brother. Heck, I could go to Arizona or New York and bug Spike and J any time I wanted (if I could find out where they lived, that is.) I also want Wolverine's regeneration ability and adamantium bones, Gambit's charging ability and skills with the staff, and Beast's knowledge, and stuff... and stuff... Anyways...

I heard that Goku will be played by Jackie Chan, and it was never Chan who was supposed to play Vegeta; it was Jet Lee. Ha ha ha. Silly me. *My tough inner guy breaks the inner guy who said "Ha ha ha silly me" with a base ball bat. You didn't hear wrong. The inner guy was broken on the bat, not vise(sp) versa, as you might expect.* Anyways... So there's Nappa: Goldberg, Goku: Jackie Chan, and Vegeta:Jet Lee. That one guy who was in Martial Law should play Yajirobe(sp), I think. La la la. Anyways...

(For a second there, I thought they were going to put off showing GT, like they did with DBZ for so long. Heh. "Assured." Tom says funny things. The robot on Toonami, not me. Well... I might say funny things. They aren't necessarily the "ha ha" variety, though, are they? ....anyways, what I mean is like when he says "Okay, here's the deal." Or "the FINEST action cartoon on the planet." I like his use of the word "finest." He has an odd assortment of words for his vocabulary, it seems. And the way he terms things. He says stuff like we have a choice sometimes. But anyways...)

Well, Tom's been bugging me to post here for the past few days, and I suppose it's all for the best, as, to quote him (or paraphrase, technically) "I don't want the club to die out," and that's the attitude we should all have, so let's try to stay active, people.

Another worry Telegraph had was that everyone is apparently afraid to post after him (in his opinion). I certainly hope that's not the case, as Tom's the only member who’s been around in this club as long as I have, so I think he deserves some respect, no?

Anyway, onto other (real) matters. Welcome back chad. As far as the "website" goes, it depends on what you mean. I'd assume you're talking about the website on which we'll be holding our RP, and if that's the case, I honestly don't know how much progress we've made since you last posted....I can tell you this much--I haven't worked on it in a few months, and since things are slowing down here, I may have to start working on it again ^^

If by chance you're talking about my Brolly website (I figured it may be true, with you being the Brolly fan you are, which is indicated by the avatar you've had for like a year now) I actually just updated it this week and last week, but before those two updates, I hadn't worked on it for 6 months. The good news is that I'm back to working on it, and it's actually been doing quite well hit-wise (It's managed about 200 hits since I updated 2 weeks ago). Also, I found that my site is back in Google's directory I'm happy to say. my website is number 117 or so if the 32,000 search results when you type in the word "Brolly" which is pretty good considering that I have to compete with an umbrella company, numerous actor profiles with that last name, and movie review sites, not to mention other Brolly sites. If you type in "Brolly's Domain" (the name of my site) it's the number one result, though, beating out the other website by the same name, so I'm happy about that ^^

Anyway, in other news, Movie 8 has actually been out for a week now (yes, it has--despite it's supposed release date of August 26, I've seen it at some stores). I'm sad to say I haven't bought it yet, though, as my local Best Buy will have it for the best price once it's official release date arrives, (when you buy as much anime as I do without having a real job to support your financial spending, every dollar counts ^_^) so I've been patiently waiting for them to get it (I've been there 3 or 4 times in the last week to check if they had it early by chance, though, so maybe I'm not waiting that patiently >_<).

I'm also planning on doing my own sub vs. dub movie review of Movie 8 ([shameless plug]as per my announcement on my site[/shameless plug]) just so I can actually add something substantial to my website, so once I get it and watch over the dub a few times, I'll have that review to possibly post here.

Speaking of reviews, now seems as good a time as any to re-post the next part of my GT summary, so without further adieu, here's part V:

Today's summary will take us from episode 42 through episode 47. (That's right, only 6 episodes...small saga) Also, for everyone who was waiting for this (I know Tom was one), we have everyone escaping from Hell! Sounds fun, right? Let's get started!

The episode starts out rather suddenly (due to the fact that the last episode was just a Tenkachi Budoukai, so there's nothing really for them to follow up on) Anyway, we see Dr. Gero in Hell, along with Dr. Myuu (Dr. Myuu, who I think I forgot to mention, created Bebi, and was killed by him and sent to Hell). The two conspire to create a "super fighter" capable of defeating Goku--to get revenge on him.

So they create another version of Android 17 whom we call (in order to avoid confusion) Hell 17 (there's plenty of names for him. I think the "politically correct" one is Artificial Android Number 17, though I prefer Hell 17). The two create a whole in the sky (can you call it a sky) in Hell that will act as a gate between Earth and Hell, so that the two 17's can merge into one.

The only way for Goku to prevent all the old enemies going to Earth is if he goes down to Hell and does battle with Hell 17, but as he enters the gap, Hell 17 jumps through, and the Gap closes.

While stuck in Hell, Goku finds Cell and Frieza, who think with all their training will be able to easily defeat Goku. Nothing much happens, though. Goku, being the care-free guy that he is just does a bunch of taunting, and kills both of them with ease, but wait! This is Hell, they're already dead, so they can't die!

After a scene of Vegeta getting ready to fight Hell 17, we're taken back to Hell, to find Goku getting pushed down to a lower level of Hell, where he's tortured by some old lady...not to exciting....

Let's get back to Earth now, shall we?

Hell 17 is seen killing both Krillin and Number 18 (he kills her because he tells him to join with him to take over the world, which she doesn't want to do). In a touching moment (wow, there's a lot of these in GT, aren't there^^), Number crawls over to her dead husband, holds his hand as she, too dies...

Back in Hell, Goku finds an Ice machine, and turns Cell and Frieza into ice, and shatters them to pieces (that's one way of getting around the no dying in Hell rule^^). We also see Piccolo and Dendé go down to Hell in hopes of getting Goku back.

Switching focus yet again to Earth, Vegeta's fighting with Hell 17 when Android 17 shows up. The Two merge to become Super 17!

Piccolo and Dendé finally re-create the portal between Hell and Earth, and Goku gets back, gratefully (he's so happy because he said that the food in Hell was unbearable...that's Goku for you^^)
At this time, Super 17 kills Dr. Gero, saying that Dr. Myuu is his true master.

Goku tries defeating Super 17, but none of his attacks seem to work. Myuu says that's because he's been programmed to read all of Goku's attacks. So what does Goku do? He turns Super Saiyan 4!

Dr. Myuu is shocked, and says he never saw or expected this, but even as SSJ4, he still can't beat Super 17. Goku says he is going to self-destruct (he says he doesn't mind going to heaven and dying--isn't he such a happy-go lucky guy^_^). As Goku's about to destruct, Android 18 shows up! She attacks, but as she attacks Goku realizes that when Super 17 is absorbing energy, he's vulnerable to attack, so while 18 shoots, Goku uses his DragonFist attack (which he learns later on in DBZ) and blows a hole right through Super 17's chest.

(really getting into the Evil Shenlon Saga, but what the hey, it's only one episode)The Z warriors gather the DragonBalls to wish all the people back who Super 17 killed, but as they make the wish, the DragonBalls crack and Blue Smoke fills inside them! An old Dragon (like Shenlon but Purple) comes out!

What will happen? Find out next time, in Part VI!

I really got a little over board with the whole Cell Frieza thing. It really wasn't as big a part as I made it out to be, I just figured I'd go into more detail about that since that's what everyone was probably most interested in.

It's now 11 p.m., and I think I'm about ready to stop typing. To give us a perspective on how long this post is (yup--saving on word processor again...wouldn't want to loose all this work!), the last summary was 1,300+ words, and this one was only 922! See, I am working on the condensing [Smiley edited out for use in current post , as well as corrections to some previous spelling errors I noticed this time around^^]

I know we've probably done this, but as our club's approaching its second year in existence, (we're a little over a month away from our 2 month anniversary) I figure it's okay to do a little recycling with some of our old topics, as I for one can tell you that I don't remember anyone's response to this question, so it'll be like it's a new question ^^
