Anyone else heard of this anime? No I'm not talking about the in name only sequel Dancougar Nova.


Here's the basic plot line:

The Muge empire sets it sights on earth. They invade it destroying most of the military on earth. Matters get worse when a man named Shapiro Keats defects to their side and becomes their strategist. The only hope for freedom left is the Cyber Beast Force. Getting four newly graduated pilot, Shinobu, team leader and Pilot of the Eagle Fighter Unit, Sara, Shapiro's ex and pilot of the Land Cougar, Masato, the lovable goofball of the team and pilot of the Land Liger Unit and Ryu, the calm and collected martial artist and pilot of the Big Mammoth, the team sets out the save the world, and supporting the growing resistance (much of the first parts of the series involved fighting in the US which had already fallen to the Muge.).


TLDR: It's a badass super robot anime that makes Voltron look tame by comparison.
