I've only begun getting into cosplay, my first time being at last year's EPAC [El Paso Anime Con, a local con here in my...lovely city *hehe sarcasm*]. I first started out as a makeshift Lady from DMC 3, but near the time of the masquerade, it became a makeshift Selphie from KH 2 [I blame my friend who was Sora from KH 2...and his keyblades >__<]. The final day I went as Nana Osaki from the series Nana but it ended up being just a messed up schoolgirl by the end of the night.

I did though do my best last Halloween by going as Jill from Resident Evil 3: Nemesis.

And I do have at least 2 cosplays planned for this year's EPAC: Orihime from Bleach and the revival of Jill, though I hope to find her S.T.A.R.S. uniform hat before then.

So I have kinda already cosplayed...but I'm probably not going to do it for every con. Just something here and there =]

Working on my own ... crunch time for Otakon. Utena, and hopefully Ashe's gown if I have time (here's to hoping).

I get my wigs on ebay. All three of them so far have been excellent quality. Though the last one was a little expensive (that's because it's from CA though not China). Still awesome, I absolutely love all of them. Just was styling my Ashe wig earlier actually. For the record, dying your hair generally doesn't work very well.
Yes! I had loads of fun, but the costume was so heavy and hot that I took it off about half way through the day. I managed to wind up getting glomped at one point in the day, but hey, I guess it happens, right?

I'll definitely be doing it again. It was alot of fun! I've already bought a Kakashi costume, but I'm not sure if I'll even use it. I'd kill to go as Gaara, but I look nothing like him so it wouldn't really work for me.

I'm going to the anime convention , A-kon 19 in Dallas, Texas in a few months...

    I'm cosplaying as:

    Squall, from Final Fantasy VIII

    and

Tom Riddle from the Harry Potter series
(not entirely sure that the above one is considered a cosplay, but I did a really good job on it! *proud of self*)

I'm planning on going to Anime Expo in California this summer. I want to dress up as Sasuke during the Chuunin selection exams, but I don't know how to create the costume (or get into it).

So far, I have the head band and arm and leg wraps. Anyone have any advice on how to create the actual suit without the need for a zipper or buttons? I could just make the neck extra huge...but it would sag in a way that wouldn't be like Sasuke's.

I tried once but, due to lack of money, it was a pretty crappy costume.
I was supposed to be Yuffie but I ended up looking like some weird camp councelor type thing haha.
In the future, I would love to cosplay Yazoo, Rikku and try Yuffie again.

I love to cosplay and i've been to four conventions and I went to a mini convention at Joseph Beth Bookstore (HUGE bookstore) and won the cosplay contest! ^^
    Costumes:
    Rukia-Bleach
    Neji-Naruto
    Freya-Chobits
Also i've been a lolita before

In May im going to another convention called Zakyou-con and I will be cosplaying Neji Hyuga from Naruto Shippuden! ^^

And anybody who is a serious cosplayer knows how expensive it is to cosplay especially if you can't make the costumes yourself! Heh heh
Im spending around $300 dollars for mine, the costume itself is $147 but im buying the contacts to wear as well...which are $199!!! Yeah I know.
But if anyone wants to know some really good websites to get cosplay stuff then let me know, or the next time I post some pictures in here i'll put them up!
