And considering they're pretty far ahead of the anime, there's a fair chance I would. You should catch on it! It's the anime without all the fat! =P

really really boring. Sasuke recruits one member
for his team per week, and it just seems like its
moving really slowly with NO action ;/. There better
be some good fighting up ahead.

It has to get better eventually. Oh, does anyone play the playstation2 game based on Naruto. It's great when you have a mate over, and it's not all that hard to master neither. I've been playing the game more, as they took the anime off free-to-air recently over here in NSW, Australia. Pay TV costs a packet here, but I may have to look into it.......

Oh, yeah, out of curiousity, I heard the anime was a fair few seasons ahead in the US. How many series boxsets have been released over there?

Well you are probably at the same period as NZ which only played up to the Chuunin exams, the one in the USA I believe is roughly around Episode 60 -70 somewhere, also Japan is up to Episode 228 (or Shuuppiden Episode 8). Oh and only the first 3 DVDs have been released here which I have already seen twice.

Anywho, I keep thinking the new series is starting to get interesting then the Episode finishes, I think it was better when there was heaps of Episodes to watch in 1 go however I lost all the Fillers I had.

Partway through Chuunin exams actually. That's what makes it so maddening. There's no way to know what happens in the end. The last episode here was the one where Naruto had to learn water walking under the tutaledge of pervert dude. The chuunin finals, sound so close, yet so far...

err I better not spoil it for you but if you are really interested they have them online (I can't tell you were however you get the idea). Anyway it kind of changes and gets quite good for a little while then I think its a few fillers then back to the normal eps for a while then the main fillers.

Actually I chose to do it that way because they repeated the first 25 episodes like 3 times so I gave up and watched the Dub till I caught up then couldn't be bothered waiting and watched the subbed (Which is much better imo).

Honestly, I prefer this part of the manga more than the others. >.> Every time they fight it takes forever to end and nothing gets done.

I remember reading the Sasori battle chapter-by-chapter, week-by-week. It was much slower (to me) than what's going on now. I just wanted it to end.

Maybe it's just different values though. I like seeing the story advance, even if it goes damn slowly. There's a lot of stuff I want to find out about in this series. Then again, battle or story, by the time I'm done with the current chapter I want the next chapter. They always cliffhang.

Sasuke's final squad member sounds absolutely awesome though, lol. And Karin...Well...Hahahaha.

Fighting can be boring, but I like the short
quick confrontations like the last little scuffle
between orochimaru and sasuke, I was
actually anticipating it all week. I'm not
really anticipating next week's episode :/

Maybe an extremely indecisive bisexual. >.> If they play it out the way I hope, it will be awesome. Hahahaha. It seems interesting, I like "meeting" new characters. Usually Naruto just involves teams with himself or Shikamaru, so giving Sasuke his own team will hopefully lend some variety. They'll probably fight eachother, too...

Yeah I was thinking the same thing also. Awesom how that one dude (still memorizing their names) has Zabuza's sword. And im interested to know what that one chicks jutsu's are like. But they released the newwest chapter not too long ago. It's seems that the crazy 3rd member just likes to kill people. It explains it in the chapter. He's just talking to himself if he likes killing boys or girls more. The guy is crazy. I wonder why Saskae is gathering all these strong guys. He's probably goanna go after Organization Akatsuki. To kill Itachi.

I sure hope they don't kill Kakashi off. I'm sorta peeved about the fact that Kishimoto keeps on throwing Kakashi to the side and has Naruto come to the rescue. I REALLY want Kakashi to get stronger. I'm not even a big Kakashi fan, I just like the idea of balance.

The relationship between Naruto and Sasuke, while taking into account that it is a manga, should be considered "complex". You could insinuate that Sasuke was attempting to break off ties with the Leaf once and for all, which he couldn't do before since he didn't kill Naruto. It could also be that he's attempting to prove that he won't be hindered by anyone. Regardless, it doesn't seem like Sasuke attempts to kill someone without purpose, even if he tries to make himself look cold-hearted.

The only person he's managed to "kill" is Orochimaru, if I remember correctly, and we don't even know if he's truly dead. I hope not, he's a great villain. That would be an unceremonious way to die. In fact though, Naruto and Sakura haven't killed anyone either.

I found a REALLY good AMV/Trailer for Naruto. It really gave me goosebumps with the music and the awsome editing. Its obiously a spoiler-intensive trailer for the people that are only watching the dubbed version in Cartoon Network but its also an awsome preview for that ark for the people that haven't seen it.

I'm thinking that if the free-to-air stations have any sense, they'll pay whoever they have to, to get it back on the air. Have you seen the toys out? Although this makes me want to grab the manufactures and kill them in a horrible way (we should not be ruining the coolness of anime by putting it on the market for 5-year-olds! Plastic headbands, jutsu-wrist-thingmies, 5-year-olds in pathetic, half-cooked cosplay... Oh don't worry, in a matter of months Naruto will slowly but surely grow to be the next Dragonball Z... I am almost certain 4Kids will butcher it terribly... thankfully I only watch the Japanese subbed version.

I agree about both things mnetioned. Sasori does look like Gaara in a way but his features seem younger per say and more human were as Gaara has that impassive face with dark rimmed eyes. I can see where your coming from with this but I doubt they're related. Otherwise Gaara would be related to Chiyo and if she was, she'd be more bothered by his death.

Also I've seen the pictures of the leader from the manga but it only shows the bottom half of his face. I still doubt him and Naruto are related or that he is the 4th Hokage. After all the 4th has had his soul sealed within the death god due to the jutsu he used to defeat Kyuubi if I'm correct. Also the Leader has a different colour of hair (can't remember which but it isn't blonde) so that again makes me doubt. Also we have to take into account the leader has that shape-shifting jutsu which he has used on spies to turn them into members at 30%. So whos saying he can't change his own appearance? So the face we've seen might not be his real one. Then again this could be me rambling on about none-sence.

With shippuuden lately, I've not been able to get into it. Sure I like the arc they're doing at the minute but its all going to slow for me and some others who I know. Too little is happening and things could be speeded up a bit to fit more things in I feel.

I don't know what's going on with the conversation above me since I didn't read the spoilers, so I'm just going to ramble on about Naruto, okay?

Naruto is my favorite manga after Bleach and Rurouni Kenshin. It's got some really sweet themes and ideas and the characters are so creative. I only watched up to ep. 83, but so far, things seem to be very interesting. It's true that there are quite a few fillers, but I kind of appreciate them. The anime for Naruto is one of the few that keep that close to the original manga, so I like it.

Now back on topic: SASUKE IS NOT EMO! Those videos on youtube were just made by people who hate Sasi-kun! I LOVE YOU SASUKE!!! Black is a very good color for ninja's that practice stealth. Plus, it's not his fault Itachi was a meanie!

My personal none Naruto related opinion on Sasuke is he's emo. I think it was in L.A last year at a convention that a load of people dressed up as Naruto acters and acted out their own things. A quote from one of them by Sasuke "Thats it, I have had enough of both of you. I'm going home writing depressive poetry!" Emo much? But thats just my general opinion on him.

Also Itachi isn't a meanie. He is a power crazy psycho who has the means to kill most people but would probably go blind if he did.

The reason I just said the above is what I think Itachi's motives were on the night he killed the Uchiha clan off and only leaving Sasuke. It goes with most power seeking villians: they always want to test their power against something equally strong. In this case another Mangekyou sharingan user. So by killing off the clan and leaving Sasuke to witness it all, he left that hatred within him and hoped it would make him achive the Mangekyou sharingan the same way he did. This almost happens when he fights Naruto during the Rescue Sasuke Arc. So basicly its he left Sasuke alive so one day he'd get the Mangekyou Sharingan and match his power. Itachi would then battle Sasuke to see if his power was the strongest in all the Uchiha bloodline.
