I saw this thread and nearly had an fn overload on my head.
So holy crap, my favorite bands, it really depends on the mood.
I guess, I can try this, so here it goes.

First off I am going to say Blink 182
IF anyone knew me they would say WTF! These guys are number one for many reasons in my books though. I can relate to almost nearly every single song ever from them. They had the best drummer ever in my eyes (Travis Barker). Some people will argue that alot, but trust me, Barker really can play. YOu have drummers like from Rush, and Avenged Sevenfold, and August Burns Red, and an endless list of bands that have great drumming abilities, but if you have ever seen Barker in real life, and when he does his solos, it's something else. As a fellow drummer, he is a great inspiration to me.

Then second is Killswitch Engage because they sing my alltime favorite song, the End of a Broken Heartache.

Linkin Park. When these guys jumped on the scene for me with Hybrid Theory, it brought together a different sense in music, where every song was so different, so unique in its own self. They even do this still with every album. You don't know what to expect.

Disturbed. Same thing as linkin park. Each album is special in it's own way, plus the lyrics are frikin pristige.

Avenged Sevenfold. These guys are my most listened to band of all time. Even as I write this Beast and the Harlot is playing. After the lead singer threw his voice out and shaped it to what he could, they released City of Evil, which blew the charts on many different levels. Plus this shit is awesome to play on Guitar Hero. And the drummer, I don't even know what to say about this guys, I just don't know where he comes up with some of his beats. This band is definitely a milestone in music for me, the way their music is composed is just outstanding, awe-inspiring to musicians, and it's just that fn good.

Yellowcard. Okay, so where did this come from. Like blink, I relate to some songs. I don't care for their old stuff, but I do really like Lights and Sounds. The song "Shadow's and Regret's" reminds me of home so much it is crazy. I saw these guys in a smalltime bar in El Paso and it was awesome.

Angels and Airwaves. Keep in mind that I worked at Hollister. So if you think I listen to only Hardcore, your very wrong. I do love hardcore a heck of alot, but I am a pure musician and I can practically listen to anything and be a critic on it. The reason I say these guys is because when Tom took his indefinite hiatus, he really grew on his family for a couple months and started composing his own music. Shortly after he released We Don't Need to Whisper, and to me, was one of the best composed c.d.s of all time.

Okay this would go on forever if I kept doing this. I'll name the playlist since it's all mixed anyways.

    The Agony Scene
    Jimmy Eat World
    Goo Goo Dolls
    Evanescence
    Demon Hunter
    Thousand Foot Krutch

Ya know what, theres too much to list. When you have a 750gb drive and its filled with nothing but music, you understand what I'm going through. Music is life.

In ending, I played the drums since I was in 2nd grade, picked up the bass guitar in 10th, started playing acoustic in 12th. I was in a few bands, made a couple of c.d.s, never really went anywhere though. Just highschool fun.

Hmm, well, about 1/2 of these listes are quite good, and 1/2 is too emo for me. But my biggest dissapointment is that Queen was only listed 2-3 times.. I might agree Beatles were greater then Queen, but Queen is Englands 2nd most popular band through time, even beating Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. Queen is very much the reason some of the most popular bands of the modern world exist.

If Queen hadn't made their music, the genre "Speed Metal" would probably not be made, as some of their more heavy songs is the first Speed Metal songs. No Speed Metal, no Motorhead. Furthermore, no Speed Metal would also most probably not be any Trash Metal, like Metallica, Slayer and Anthrax (And Megadeth, of course). That's 5 of the worlds most popular metal bands gone. Also, think of all the bands that site Queen as one of their musical influences. So with no Queen, many bands would've had a SLIGHTLY different, e.g. other riffs and such, no big deal, but wouldn't be the same.

My point is that Queen is one of the most influencing bands to the modern bands we have today, but I find the appreciation to the band, and the fan-base, to low for such a wonderful musical project. And the fact that they just rock ;P

    But to my list!

    Queen
    RATM
Audrey Horne (Quite unknown, but the best Hard Rock band Norway's got to offer (almost the only one too).
    Iron Maiden
    Led Zeppelin
    Sabbath
    'tallica
ZZ Dub (as I like to call 'em)
    Red Hot Chili Peppers
    Sonata Arctica
    Nightwish
    Nickelback
    Kamelot
    A little SOAD.
    White Stripes and Raconteurs.
    Beatles
    Dio
Dragonforce(Only Valley of the Damned album though)
Lostprophets (Only Fake Sound of Progress)
    Linkin Park (Only Hybrid Theory)
    Guns n' Roses (Pre-1996)
Firewind (Greece Power Metal, quite unknown)
    A little Muse.
    Aqua, Toy Box and Chipz!!
    P.O.D.
    A little Korn.

    That's it for now

Girl: Do i ever cross ur mind
    Boy: No
    Girl: Do you like me?
    Boy: Not really
    Girl: Do you want me?
    Boy: No
Girl: Would you cry if I left?
    Boy: No
Girl: Would you live for me?
    Boy: No
Girl: Would you do anything for me?
    Boy: No
    Girl: Choose--me or ur life
    Boy: my life
The girl runs away in shock and pain and the boy runs after her and says...
The reason you never cross my mind is because you're always on my mind.
The reason why I don't like you is because I love you.
The reason I don't want you is because I need you.
The reason I wouldn't cry if you left is because I would die if you left.
The reason I wouldn't live for you is because I would die for you.
The reason why I'm not willing to do anything for you is because I would do everything for you.
The reason I chose my life is because you ARE my life

For the sake of being considerate to people who want to view this thread, I'm keeping this somewhat concise. I don't want others to have to scroll through my stuff like I had to with everyone else's.

    *HORSE the Band
    *Unearth
    *Light This City
    *Into the Silence
    *Isis
    *Cult of Luna
    *Metallica (Black Album and earlier)
    *skycamefalling
    *Norma Jean
*The Number Twelve Looks Like You
    *The Black Mages
    *Still Breathing
    *My Ruin

I like many more bands... quite a lot. However, I feel that this list should include bands that I like a lot, listen to a lot, and listen to several or all of their albums. There are a lot of bands in which I like one or two albums from, but either don't know or like the rest. If you are interested in what I've been listening to lately, check out my last.fm profile.

Why the hell is everyone's sig so long? Be polite and use a freakin' spoiler tag!:
