Versailles/Versailles Philharmonic Quintet
Lareine
Miyavi
Malice Mizer
Dir en Grey (at least cd wise, they can be really hit or miss live)
X Japan
TM Revolution/Abingdon Boys School

Those are the MAIN ones. More of the older school/last generation japanese bands that are getting older but still kicking. They are what first got me involved and I still think what they did back then and are doing now are better than the newer bands (though Miyavi is kind of a little of old school and new school)

Newer bands I listen to would be An Cafe, Girugamesh, 12012, Alice Nine, Nightmare, Mucc, LM.C, Daizystripper, Matenrou Opera.

MUCC, Girugamesh and LM.C are by far the best of those, especially Mucc. But they are more of the newer generation. I like them a good bit, but the first list of bands do it for me much more. They seem alot more deep and make me feel more. Not to say these newer bands dont do that to me at times, but it's alot less common compared to just some damn good music.

Well I like almost every type of music except for country,bluegrass....although a country song from time to time is alright.

Maralyn Manson(He creepy as all get out but good songs)
Michael Jackson(Listen to the music and dont think about his personal life, he is musical brilleance)
