Regret by New Order, Last One Out of Liberty City by Less Than Jake, Tales of a Scorched Earth by The Smashing Pumpkins, Girl, Why'd You Run Away? by Reggie and the Full Effect, Wish by Nine Inch Nails... seriously, could be here a long time. I miss the 90's; kinda grew up during that decade, and got to hear a lot of great music. A lot of my favorite bands were in their prime at the time. Pop Punk hadn't mostly turned into Mall Punk yet, alternative radio still played alternative music and not just nu metal, and then there was the Summer of Ska... *sigh* Anyhoo...

The ones that stick out in my mind are C'Mon 'N Ride It (The Train) and I Love You Always Forever. These were two of many songs that I listened to at least 1000 times.

Don't forget all them BOYBANDS!

I was a huge fan of the Backstreet Boys when they were popular. Now, I only have one song from them on my iPod, of which the title escapes me atm...

As for the rest of the decade: I was a huge fan of The Goo Goo Dolls. "Slide", "Iris", "Black Balloon" and "Sympathy" are probably my favorites. I also enjoyed pretty much everything from Matchbox 20 that broke into the top 40, which were quite a few songs. I really liked "Back 2 Good" the best though.

There are possibly more, but those are my shining examples.

The 90's are by far my favorite decade for music. So many of my favorite song come from that whole alt. rock movement.

I'll have to second Dodie's choice, every song by Goo Goo Dolls she mentioned is nothing short of great, though "We are the Normal", and "Name" should be thrown in there as well.

I'm bit surprised no one mentioned "My Heart Will Go On", I'm not really fan of Celine Dion, but I have to admit that song is truly amazing. Losing My Religion by R.E.M. is also a good one, as well as Desert Rose by Sting.

As for the genre I adore, "Nightquest", "Sacrament of Wilderness", and "Walking in the Air" by Nightwish, "Pearls of Light", "Candles" by Within Temptation, are the ones that stick out the most.

"Sve Još Miriše Na Nju", "Zaustavi se vjetre", "Lijepa li si", "Crne Noći Bijeli Putevi", "Odlazim"... several great Croatian songs.

I would also like to add few more...

- No Doubt - Don't Speak
- The Rembrandts - I'll Be There for You

Really, the 1990s? *puts on thinking cap* 1990s...Sorry, still trying to remember the decade. Ah, let's see...

Around the World, Daft Punk. 1990s, right? Can't remember the lyrics to it, though.
Oh, oh...umm... Enjoy the Silence, Depeche Mode, early 90s, but still 90s. Very good.

Other than that, I'm drawing a blank... Didn't spend much time in the 90s.

I have actually just come home from a 90s night at the local nightclub (there are loads, but this one is usually grungy),and they played a lot of the stuff we used to dance to at our monthly 'school discos' at upper primary (Year/Grades 4-6). For a few hours I felt like I was 10 again. With alcohol and cigarettes!
