Thread: Chevelle

    Chevelle

I have been lending my ears to these guys for a few years now but didn't really learn to appreciate them until I picked up copies of Sc-Fi Crimes and Wonder Whats Next. Now, they are one of my favorite modern bands. I have heard their sound described as a beautiful darkness and as cheesily-poetic as that may sound, I would have to agree that it captures the feel of the band. So, this thread is to discuss your appreciation or depreciation of the band . As well as your favorite songs/albums.

As of right now my favorite songs are.

    Shameful Metaphors
    Bend The Bracket
    The Red
In Debt To Earth(I believe it is a b-side)
    I Get It
    Panic Prone
    Vitamin R(Leading Us Along)

As for albums, Sci-Fi Crimes is probably my most favorite mainly because it got me hooked and it has what I believe is Pete's best writing.

    Re: Chevelle

Chevelle is a decent band, with a few songs of decent quality. Can't say they are even in my top 20 favorites, but the occasional song is never unwelcome by myself.

Sitting here waiting for Rocky, and Che to notice me!!

    Re: Chevelle

Vena Sera was my favorite album altogether out of Chevelle, and though it wasn't the most popular, I loved it for the fact that I would just drive around town listening to it after graduation high school. Now I look back on it, those were good times! haha.

All of their hits are pretty good, and I've had the chance of seeing them live as well, they put on a pretty good show imo.

Meier: Hey Pete, I said I started to, it just didn't end the with the same number of women. Then again this one is kind of on the outs with me if she doesn't straighten up and fly right so that means I will be back in it for the thrill of the kill. Got some in the reserves. Even got a rePETEr (<---- like that ay? AYYYYY?) on the back burner.

Block: I do like the rePETEr except it kinda makes it sound like you're going to pork Pete. No homo.
