    120 Minutes

Back in the day, late at night, on Mtv, With Matt Pinfield (here interviewing Liam and Noel Gallagher from Oasis). Anyone else used to watch this program? This was the program that the cool bands aired on. Bands like MxPx, Suicide Machines, Prozzak, They Might Be Giants, etc., had their videos on it. Also, Billy Corgan hosted it once. I guess really, I didn't see it too often when it was on, but my bro taped a lot of stuff off of it. I thought Matt Pinfield was a pretty cool host. Also how I saw a lot of videos by my favorite bands back in the day. NOSTALGIA. Back when Mtv was relevant. *les sigh*

If you watched this, who did you discover on it? Or what bands did you like that you got to see on it? Anyhoo...

I did not see 120 Minutes when it was airing... I think that was at the time in my life where I was too young/close-minded about stuff like that, so I didn't even give it a chance. I watched some of the video with the singer from Oasis...and couldn't understand much of what he said. Haha... Thick, thick accent.

Checking out Wikipedia for a bit more information (because that's how I roll), it looks like this show is set to return sometime this year. Matt Pinfield is set to return as a host too. ^^ Guess I'll be checking it out when it airs.

    Re: 120 Minutes

The part I liked was the fact I grew up along side MTV. I didn't watch much of the early shows in the 80s, but I remember watching Kennedy because she looked like she really just didn't give a &|@%.

I was watching as the Red Hot Chili Peppers were slinging hair and light bulbs everywhere. I saw a lot of groups for the first time, and when The Real World first came out, I hooked to something almost as stupid as Jerry Springer. I watched up until the first Boston and Seattle. I also remember the first time seeing Marilyn Manson on for the first time, yet the singer was sitting in the crowd and had a microphone put up to him. That's when he plugged, "yea, we're a newly formed band called Marilyn Manson" or something close.

I liked MTV during the time when they had shows like Aeon Flux, Oddities, and at least 68% music. Then, MTV2 came out with Matt Pinfield rip offs playing music like the first channel should have kept to instead of becoming kitchy. Now, it's just backwards. MTV2 should have been directed to do what MTV is doing now, in which MTV should have stayed closer to what MTV2 was doing when it first came out.

Ps. They lost it all when Prince went down the elevator.

It is the last game of the entire series.

The first two series, for those of you who don't read or know, were 7 volumes total and all for PS2. There was also an 8th; it was called .hack//Fragment Offline. A lot of people didn't know that I bet. Has anyone read any .hack manga? If you don't plan on getting Link and instead prefer to read, I recommend at least trying out .hack//Link Manga- Read .hack//Link Manga Online for Free at Manga Fox. Let me know what you think.
