Manga- (noun) A Japanese genre of cartoons, comic books, and animated films, typically having a science-fiction or fantasy theme and sometimes including violent or sexually explicit material.

As for good anime shows...um...all of them!

Major big-chain bookshops will normally have a small section devoted to manga assuming that they are large enough but depending on where you live this may not be the case. For instance here in the UK, I've only seen manga for sale in maybe 2 or 3 different shops.

Try and familiarise yourself with some of the technical terms before trying to read any manga since there is a vast amount of content out there that is highly sexual in nature and sometimes pornographic. If you find a manga shop in your local area have a browse and don't be afraid to ask whoever works there what they recommend.

I don't actually read manga at all because it's an expensive hobby in this country, most volumes cost around £6.00 (~$9.00) each. So I'm no expert in the subject.

And then there's this link "Last Anime You Watched 2.0" that tells you what anime other members have watched. Whether these are all worth watching, I don't know. Some are good, but some are great!

You know what anime is, but not manga? Troll much?

Not sure where you got your definition, Aldha, but manga is the Japanese word for comic. It doesn't include anime and animated films. Just comics.

As for any good anime, I recommend Mo No No Ke (モノノ怪).

I would say the one big thing that differentiates manga from comics and graphic novels is that it is read from right to left. Problem is I am so used to it that whenever I start reading comics it takes me a few minutes to adjust.

And in regards to anime, the one must see series is Cowboy Bebop.

I do that but also read back to front. It drives my friends nuts! When I try and explain why I do it they just give me a look that says "you have problems". I prefer reading Manga to watching Anime since it gives you a deeper insight to the story. A lot of Animes cut out stuff. Plus it's cool just conjuring voices in your head on how they speak.

good Animes I think are Bleach, Full Metal Alchemist and Tactics. The Studio Ghibli films are good too.
