STFU while I'm watching a movie!

How do you usually watch a movie?

As much as I appreciate a good company I prefer to watch my movie all by myself. I like to immerse into experience as much as possible which is hard to do around friends like mine, they either have a stupid question every now and then or a simple comment "doesn't she have like ABS in that car" (during Silent Hill when Rose ends up in a car accident), come to think of it, my brother is the only person I don't mind seeing a movie with since he tends to stick to my one and only rule, "shut the **** up during the movie".

Only few movies each year are worth a trip to cinema or so I feel, so it's usually between TV and pirate bay (shame on me). I have 24 inch Samsung monitor on which I usually watch my movies, which is "pretty impressive" considering what I had to bare with til recently (first world problems).

I'm half and half. Sometimes I like people with me to talk, other times I don't.

Comedy is obviously the biggest reason to have people with you to talk about the show. Going alone or laughing alone in your house is never as fun as with friends. Another one is terribad movies. I admit I probably piss a lot of people off in theaters, but I usually am laughing my ass off in bad movies. We had a friend who's a huge street fighter fan so we went to see the movie. A friend and I were making jokes and laughing the entire movie. I moved literally as far away as I could from anyone to try not to bother them, but I mean come on. It's a horrible movie, I at least want some enjoyment out of my 8 dollars.

But yes, I realize that's rude for those who went to see the movie. I wouldn't want them talking if I went to see something like Cloud Atlas which I had been anticipating for some time now.
It's not like I pick out bad movies to go to though, we went to that because our said friend had no one to go with. So it's a rare occasion that I do that.

That's my other half, if its something that I want to pay attention to that doesn't involve the movie trying to get me to laugh I prefer silence.

I like to watch movies with a lot of people around me (there's no choice, really) if I can't hear the film, I just turn on the subtitles

When I am at the movie theater watching a film I hate it when people talk. Got in a argument when I saw Legion cause these douches kept talking and wouldn't shut up. They ended up getting thrown out for bringing liquor into the place.
