    Lightbulb Nick-Nick-Nick-na-Nick-Nick-Nick, Nickelodeon.

This was inspired by a Doug avatar, and the realization that there actually isn't a thread about this in here (that I've seen).

Did anyone used to watch Nickelodeon when they were younger/little/whateveryouwanttocallyouformerself? Hell, do you still watch it now? What were your favorites/least favorites?

Let's see, Doug, Hey Arnold!, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Rocket Power, Rugrats (my sister moreso than me, but I watched it too), Rocko's Modern Life (stupid as hell), Spongebob Squarepants (duh), and the Wild Thornberry's...

^ I didn't realize that those were all on Nickelodeon either until I just wikied that shit, it's been that long since I've even thought about these shows lol.

Omg! I used to love those shows. Hey Arnold (I had a crush on Arnold aka Football Head), Aaahh!!! Real Monsters (my favourite character was Ickis), Rugrats, Catdog and Rocko's Modern Life (if you look back, this show is not suitable for children haha), were the ones I used to watch after school

Oh I also love Invader Zim and The Fairly Oddparents!

Thanks for this Dranzer! Brings back some good memories

anyone remember "you can't do that on television?"

they had that Nick arcade show that was lame as hell but it endorsed gaming.

No one forgets "Quailman," I still wear a belt on my head to this day..

Double Dare was alright and they would always close-up cam on the flag and you were like "wtf are you doing!? the flag's right there!!"

Tell me you all watched 'Salute your shorts' ..that may have been before your time though

Are you afraid of the dark was like Goosebumps and always disappointing lol, good times.

I really feel like I'm not remembering some of the classics.. hmmn...

I used to love Nick. It saddens me that it's pretty much dead now. Ah well, couple channels on digital cable that show the good Nick stuff.

I liked Hey Arnold, Rugrats, Catdog, Doug, Oddparents, Rocket Power, Spongebob, Rocko, ****, I watched pretty much all the classic Nicktoons.

I also liked the game shows, Figure it out, Double Dare, that one that always ended with them climbing that artificial mountain thing, the weird temple one with the dudes dressed like trees trying to grab the kids, all good shit.

Also, Keenan and Kel. Awesome shit. All That and the Amanda show were usually pretty good too.

Don't watch Nick too often anymore, other than when Legend of Korra was on. Totes can't wait for the new season! But waaaay back when I was a little Dodie16, I would watch pretty much anything. I think my interest in Nick started to wane about the time that stuff like CatDog and Rocket Power was airing, which was probably when I completely crossed over to Cartoon Network territory.

Salute your shorts was one of my favorites! Much better than Hey Dude... Hated that show... But still watched it occasionally. Really liked The Adventures of Pete and Pete too. Some episodes are up on youtube! Fun Fact: Endless Mike is the voice of Zack Fair in the FF VII spinoffs and cameo appearances!

Was stupid. Maybe not as stupid as some shows from the 90's or some now, but still stupid. I didn't care for Hey Arnold! either. Beyond that point, I loved Invader Zim and still watch Spongebob sometimes. Never cared for Fairly Odd Parents.

During my younger days, however, I loved Ren and Stimpy, Rocko's Modern Life, The Angry Beavers, and I had a period where I loved Rugrats but I don't look back fondly on it anymore. Also liked Pete and Pete and Salute Your Shorts. Also, Are You Afraid of the Dark scurred me when I was small, but was entertaining. All That was never funny. Was mildly interested in Clarissa Explains it All. Anyhoo...

Oh man, I LOVED Nick back in the day, back when they had Snick and the big orange couch... and Stick Stickley back in the summer.

I won't lie, I loved most of the original shows from back then, by that I mean the real pioneers of cartoons on the Network; Doug (obviously), Rocko's Modern Life (funny then, fricken AMAZING social commentary now), Ahh! Real Monsters, and Hey Arnold. I wasn't allowed to watch Ren and Stimpy, per se, but I did enjoy it when I could sneak it in.

I also loved shows like Salute Your Shorts, Hey Dude! and Alex Mack. They were all good and fun. I was a huge fan of You Can't Say That On Television, and for the longest time, whenever I would reference it, I could have sworn that I was crazy, since nobody ever seemed to know it.

I also loved watching Double Dare, Nick Arcade (since I wanted half of those games), Legends of the Hidden Temple (Olmec, bitches!) and Guts. I loved how Mike O'Malley would always hit on Mo, and just get shut down.

    Man, childhood was awesome

Old Nick was the best. Hey Arnold, Rugrats, Rocco's Modern Life, Angry Beavers, CatDog, Fairly Odd Parents, etc. Pretty much was my entire childhood television-wise. Many, many hours were wasted watching Nick during the mid 90s to early 2000s.

Haha I do remember that! Remember the Halloween games, where that one lucky person could go and nick or treat, where you had to navigate a 3d town with your phone? I always wanted to do that, but my parents were always like "you tard, that costs money!"
