Cool Let's go down childhood movie lane

A friend on FB, posted a status about how he was watching movies with his son (he's about 6 or something) and asked what everyone's favourite childhood movies were. It's a nice thought to watch some of your own favourites with your own kids now or someday when you have kids. So I'm stealing his thought and asking you guys.

So what are your childhood favourites?

For me I'm talking those late 80s, 90s, movies. I used to watch most on Friday, Saturday (sometimes there'd be awesome movies on Sunday nights, but we had to go to bed) night television, with my brother and sister, they were pure awesome! Or I had the video cassette tapes of some of them. I'm looking at a list of children's films now and my mind is blown from all the memories!

My favourites (in no particular order) were,

The Chipmunk Adventure (my personal favourite)
The Lion King, Alice in Wonderland, Pochahontas, hell all the Disney classics!
Back to the Future, Back to the Future Part II and Back to the Future Part III
    Short Circuit, Short Circuit 2
    The Nightmare Before Christmas
Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter is Dead
    Who Framed Rodger Rabbit
    Sister Act, Sister Act 2
    Jurassic Park
    Gremlins
The Land Before Time (the first 3, I never watched the rest) LOVED THIS!
Honey I Shrunk the Kids Honey I Blew Up the Kid
    My Girl!
    Uncle Buck
Home Alone and Home Alone 2 (the rest of those movies are just awful)
    Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
    Space Jam
    Jumanji
    The Secret Garden
    Richie Rich
    Casper!!!
    The Might Ducks!
    The Sandlot
    Now and Then
    Hocus Pocus!!!
Three Men and Baby, Three Men and A Little Lady

SO many more, tooo many to list.

I'm so excited now! I think I'm going to have to re watch ALLL of those movies.

    Woah, nostalgia.

My brother abd I really, really loved The Sandlot. I've probably seen like 30 times. It's the only reason I know what baseball is.

The first two (three?) Home Alones would be on every Christmas, and we never missed them, except for Christmases spent at my cousins' farm. I died a little when they made them without Milkauke Kaulkin (Jesus, there's the "sp" to end all sp's).

I grew up watching mostly cheap old action movies with my dad, you know, Lethal Weapon, Rambo, Enter the Dragoon... and such, I also have really fond memories of original Star Wars trilogy, was blown away when I first saw those movies.

I pledge my life and honor to the Night's Watch, for this night and all the nights to come.
