I have been watching Full Metal Panic! and Full Metal Panic Fumoffu. I thought that they were both good to watch. Full Metal Panic Fumoffu was pretty funny. Even though Full Metal Panic! was good, I think I liked Full Metal Panic Fumoffu better. I wish there would have been more episodes.

Heh, I've been watching some Yugioh episodes lately, for old times sake. Well, that's half true as I only watched deulest kingdom before and that's what, a quarter of the episodes? How the hell can they make 250 episodes out of a card game? Anyways, I've watched 52-95 so far (give or take, I can't remember the exact numbers). Watching LittleKuriboh's abridged series is what made me want to watch and see what I missed. Even without his input, those episodes are halarious themselves. "Once I get your millenium puzzle, I'll rule the world! ....Let's play a card game for it!" "You evil cur! A card game it is!"

Was watching it dubbed, because my little sister throws a spakky when I go for subbed, and Oh. My. God. Orochimaru's voice is super-sexy. Now I can't wait for the next DVD to come out ... He is absolutely my new favourite character. -squee-

The last anime I watched was...Jigoku Shoujo Futakomori episode 3.
The series sorta reminds me of Death Note, although they're not exactly the same.
The concept is rather interesting though.

Just a few minutes ago I finished watching the first episode of Ergo Proxy, dubbed in English. I usually wouldn't watch English-dubbed anime, but unfortunately it's the only one available at the closest anime rental store.

Definitely a good show. Rewatching it. Last time I watched the first few eps and lost it... Getting the whole lot, now.

I have been lately watching Hellsing, once again. My 4 year old bro wanted to look something from computer and I don't have many animes downloaded. So Hellsing. It just could have more episodes than 13.

Last episode was #8. Ceras met young/old vampire Helena and the Real Undead landed on UK.

Somehow, I got stuck watching Kikaider with my friend. Since she's never seen it and she just got the whole Kikaider anime on DVD, she decided to invite me over to watch it with her. But, it was definitely worth it since it's been awhile since I saw the anime. Plus, I love the hearing the end song Destiny.

I finished up yugioh. I think the last time I posted here I was on episode 85 or something. Well I finished up to 224, aka all of it. Wtf? That fourth season was crap and that Arc with Noah in it (bad pun) was an absolute waste of time. Marik and Bakura made it all worth it. They were awesome villians. It pisses me off that Marik turned into a good guy. He was much cooler evil without his evil half. Bakura is just great though. Florence is back! Mwahaha!

Seriously though, what a ****ing stupid show. To sum up the idiocy of that show, I'll use a line from LittleKuriboh:

Marik: [to defeat Yugi] We'll play a children's card game with him!

Bakura: That's your plan?

Pegasus: I already did that.

Weevil: Yeah, me too.

Marik: Mine will be different, it'll be on a boat!

Bakura: A boat...?

Bakura: And what pray tell will that accomplish?

Well lets see, it was the stupid Burger King having your way night on Adult Swim so there was a few different anime on than the usual.

Samurai Champloo - Episode 1, It had been a while since I watched it. I remember why it was so much fun to watch. Not that I really forgot, but it was still very enjoyable and Jin was so cool in this episode more so than any other episode in the way he fought. The three samurai that he killed when he tossed up his hat made him seem so skilled and amazing as the hat fell down catching the blood rather than soiling him. As though the blood of unworthy enemies were not good enough to stain him.

Bleach - Episode 1. Well they already started over on Bleach the past week, so I had seen this already. So I had dinner at this time, but I still found myself watching it. Ichigo got his Soul Reaper powers and displayed all of his unnatural talents that make him the typical hero of anime that he is. He does everything that makes him the exception for any rule that exists in the universe.

Fullmetal Alchemist - Episode 1 and 2. I guess they wanted to have both, they are quite good episodes. It is a two parter anyway, so it is best to have them together. So you get to Ed working his amazing talents that also make him an exception to just about every rule in the universe. Except that you eventually know why he has said exceptions. Either way Ed kicking butt and going on about his jaded ways is always entertaining.

Eureka Seven - Episode 1. I haven't seen this episode in forever, and when I say that its been more than a year since it took a year to play. And they have never replayed it. Either way, it is another two parter, but the guy did not bother with the second episode to may disappointment. Watching it made me wonder how Johnny Young Bosh is able to do the voice of Renton and Ichigo. Ichigo sounds more like his natural voice while Renton is much higher pitched. It was still fun to watch the episode and see Renton back at the beginning before he had grown up to the person he is at the end.

Naruto - Episode 104 (maybe) I don't know what episode it is other than it is the second episode in the new season and the fourth I think in the land of tea arc that is about to end. It was alright, but they are do a lot of flashbacks still that are so stereotypical of Naruto at this point. Not to mention that Naruto has to find people who are apparently all like him, but taken the wrong path while he took the right one. It is really getting old the repetitive nature of Naruto countlessly finding people that are just like him, almost. At least for a filler arc is doing alright and feeling like Naruto and not something that halfway did. I'm just waiting for the real arc to start up.

One Piece - Episode I don't know. Its the start of Skypiea so anyone that has seen One Piece knows what episode it is. Needless to say it is an improvement over the 4kids that is now finally over. Funimation is now controlling the dubbing here and it already feels a lot better, voice acting aside. It was an interesting episode with Skypiea talked about, but feeling like we are going on a detour before seeing Skypiea.

Dragonball Z - Yes, I'm watching it. Its the Cell Saga just before Cell absorbs 18. So anyone that watched DBZ knows where that is. I like the Cell Saga for two reasons. I haven't seen it endlessly like Frieza and Gohan is the focus rather than Goku. Well Goku is still the focus, but at the end it is Gohan running the show and not Goku and I've always like Gohan more than Goku. I don't know how people can like Goku so much when Gohan is a far more interesting character. Goku can do nothing wrong, while Gohan will actually kill unlike Goku who has to always give his enemies a chance.

Gunslinger Girl - Episode 5-13. Obviously not on Cartoon Network. I bought earlier in the week so I decided that I had the time to finish up the series. It was as good as I was told. I enjoyed it greatly and the turns that it took near the end were very interesting. There is definitely something creepy about the girls as a assassins and the voices that they have make it all the better. The voices are what really sells it more than anything and they picked some good ones. The ending was a little sudden feeling as though there was still more, but as I understand there is a second season being made. So I'm figuring that we are going to get a continuation of what was ended in the first 13 episodes.

It was on Adult Swim last night. I've never actually seen it before, though I've seen the first episode several times. Seems like whenever they play it I always catch the first ep, I hate it when that happens. So I was pleased to see something else for a change. Maybe someday I'll watch the whole series. Maybe.

[SSJ4 Goku]

I actually just watched the first episode of Death Note, courtesy of AdultSwim's website (as I missed its premier on TV this past weekend). I was holding out on watching the anime (back when it was unlicensed, of course!) and reading the manga until it inevitably got licensed here, so I could hope for it to make its way to TV, which it did. I was supremely satisfied with it in every way (the music was wonderful, the dub cast was likable, and the plot seems delightfully intriguing). So yeah, I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

As you can probably tell I've been watching quite a bit lately:

Genshiken: If you go to Dattebayo you probably noticed that the picked up the series so I decided to download the 1st Episode and it looked interesting so I downloading the whole first season and I think it was worth it. For those who don't know its basically about Otaku's in their college club which they're interested in all Anime, Manga and Video Games. Anyway basically this preppy kind of girl joins who is nothing like them but her boyfriend is kind of like that except he's an otaku as well. It's an ok show, at first it was kinda hard to get into but it has it's moments. I just watched the 1st Episode of the 2nd season and it likes like I need to go back and watch the OVA's as there's some new characters. Also the artwork has improved and looks more modern on the new series.

Claymore: Episodes 5 - 12: As I said quite a while ago this anime looked quite interesting so I decided to check it out. Unfortunately during the beginning it was kind of slow paced and I stopped watching it, however I was bored yesterday so decided I may as well catch up on it. Anyway it looks like it's one of those ones when the main character is the weakest then turns out to have some kind of hidden power where their powerlevel is 10 times higher than the person who is the most powerful and they still struggle to fight some beast. A bit of a cliché concept however I guess it works, so far its just starting to get good as it was mostly flashbacks but they weren't as bad as some. Definitely worth watching if you like Medieval kind of stuff.

Naruto Shippuuden 29 - 32: Last few episode's have been the typical kind of emotional ones which is good in itself but overall I just kind of want to get on with the story. So far I am liking Shippuuden quite a bit it's just kind of tedious having to wait a week for one episode. It's fairly mature compared to the original but they've still managed to maintain the asthetic value from before. Not much else to say unless you've seen it.

Ghost Hunt 1-24 (Getting ready to watch 25 the last episode)

All I have to say about this show is wow. It gives the the feeling I had when I was watching death note ep 1-24 or w/e. Ya know before it got redundent and started to suck because they was trying too hard? Yeah. I really like this show.

Also been watching the new fall season of anime shows i.e. Gundam 00, Rental Magica, Night Wizard, Dragonaut(sp?) Reasonace(yarg sp?), um... There are a few more but I've forgotten them at the moment and don't feel like looking them up.

I will admit it, I've been indulging in a sickeningly cute anime that ordinarily I'd never admit to actually liking. No, not Fruits Basket, I'll admit that one openly.

Cardcaptor Sakura! Not the ill-fated Cardcaptors, but the original. Namely, episodes 46, 48, 49, 51, and 58. Anyone who's familiar with the show can probably guess who my favorite character is based solely on which episodes I listed. I've been contemplating buying the DVDs, but I'm not sure if I want to be that indulgent quite yet.

I'm getting back into anime with a vengeance. Over the course of yesterday I saw Naruto, episodes 88 to 108. Whew! That's a lot of Naruto. I'm attempting to catch up to Shippuuden, but I'm not watching all 200+ of Naruto. I'm stopping where the fillers start, so I'm only going to 137, then switching to the new series.

Episode 101 was absolutely hilarious. Probably because Kakashi is my favorite character and I've been waiting for them to make an episode of that scene for a long time. I'm quite pleased that they did an entire episode, not just the five minutes for that little part of the manga. That crow was great. XD Ahou! Ahou!

Venus Versus Virus Episode 1 - My newtype magazine came so I got new anime episodes to watch. It was an interesting anime to see. I don't think I've seen a berserker in an anime for a while since Lodoss. But it is curious that the main character is strong, but not strong enough to hold back the berserker friend of her's. And then they go and have her seem strong and silent and then doubting herself in private. I guess the strong, quiet and rude personality is getting old that they need to mix it up a little.

Tokyo Majin Episode 1 - The character designs were interesting for me and I'm pretty sure I know them from something else, but I can't place it. It had me interested though, and for some reason it felt like I was watching Saiyuki but without the whole cast being guys. That and they are much younger, being high school students which is more of a cliche. Either way demon or undead fighting and crazy wardrobe wearing villains makes it look like an amusing anime to watch.

Flag Episode 3 - I'm not even sure what to make of Flag. It was all told through the lens of a camera, which is a different style. There were only a few times when they were not looking through a camera. It almost seems like there was very little animation done as well, as though they had a small budget and used this as a device. But I don't know. It is one of those different anime that might be worth looking into in the future.

Well there was no Toonami on Saturday, curse CN for showing the Naruto movie, again. I want my Naruto and One Piece. Oh well, at least Adult Swim comes through still.

Death Note Episode 5 - It is continuing to be interesting to watch the show as it goes on further. I liked how they gave the FBI agent a little background just to make his death all that more important. Plus it drives some more trouble Light's way anyway. But it is was nice to make out to being a more than just another name in his book. And watching Light going around doing all of his experimenting and listening to Ryuk, who did not get much time this time. It was a very enjoyable episode.

Blood+ Episode 33 - Well they just jumped a year for no explained reason. It was strange because the last thing that I remembered was the fight on the ship and Saya staying behind. And then Kai looks like he all grown up going around in a suit a little reminencent of David. Who is now a pathetic drunk, of course. Though seeing Joel a cripple was interesting and not what I was expecting. It was an odd episode, but I think it will make more sense with things going on now. There is definitely new sides and enemies which is meaning things interesting.

Naruto, episodes 108 to 129. You know why I love this anime? Because it's fun! But also quite emotional. Even I cried a little at the ends of a couple episodes. I'm not saying which cause if you watch it, you know which ones.

I will say though, I am rather surprised with Gaara. I like him quite a bit after his most recent appearance.

Honestly, I'm liking all of the secondary characters a lot more now that they aren't focusing solely on Naruto and co. I hope it's a trend that continues.

Naruto 130-136

Naruto Shippuuden 1-15

Finally! I expect to catch up tomorrow if all goes well and damn, Shippuuden was so worth the wait. I like it way more than the first series so far. For one thing, everyone's more or less done with being whiny or emo, from what I've seen so far anyway. I'm very pleased with Naruto in particular, I never liked him much because he was so obnoxious. He's much more tolerable now.

Kakashi's better than ever, of course. I almost cried at the end of his test with Naruto and Sakura though, I was laughing so hard. Some things just never change.

Although the animation is way better, I do wish they'd upgrade the storytelling a bit. For one thing, I'm really tired of all the stupid flashbacks of things that just happened. Not nearly as bad as before though since they stopped spending half the episode explaining what happened while playing the flashback.

Overall, I'm very pleased with how it's going so far.

Hmm, I bought the first boxset of Naruto. But never finished collecting. I should finish it. But at the moment it just seems very repetitive. Not as bad as InuYasha but still similar. Does it get better further on?
