Finally finished the Bounto Arc, but I have stopped watching Bleach at that point.. lol I kno i know.. =P but yeah, I've been reading other mangas and watching other anime and getting caught up and what not.

I've seen teh bleach Dub a couple times on Adult Swim, it wasn't too bad, though it was weird since I was already used to the Japanese Seiyuu.

So far everything in bleach is pretty cool. I want to start reading the manga, since the both do deviate from each other at points. It's interesting to see both and then compare the two.

So I watched the latest dub episode where they meet Kuukaku Shiba for the first time. It made me laugh because the scene they have when they introduce the other guy is so much funnier in the AMV hell spoof, it kinda disappointed me seeing how the scene REALLY was.

And I still think Akira + Hibiki = Rukia, so naturally Rukia <3

The next episode of the dubbed one should be interesting because you'll get to see the captains. So hopefully it will good.

Spoiler: Yep true as can be. Ichigo's father is a REALLY REALLY strong Soul Reaper. I was pretty surprised myself.

It's also weird, because sometimes, in some scenes, they talk about the Bounto Arc, and in other scenes, they talk like the Soul Society Arc just happened last week. La la la...

Spoiler: Huh that is weird. But seeing Ichigo's dad being a bad ass Soul Reaper makes perfect senese. I mean Ichigo could'nt be a Soul Reaper for just being a human. But the anime and manga somtimes go in diffrent directions but they still half to go to the same goal. So far from what i've seen in the anime there staying pretty close. But im only in the soul sosiety arc still.

Oh man. Just watched 118. When it actually ended, I yelled "NO!!" I wanted to see more, heh. I was cheering the entire episode...

Spoiler: Except for when Grimmjow stabbed Rukia, of course. That sucked. I just realized then that this wasn't the filler arc anymore, and these characters actually could die, now.

All I wanna say, though, is that Ikkaku is the man, and

Spoiler: I'm glad that he has Bankai, now. He's hilarious. Plus, I guess we get to see a flashback of his next episode, eh? Awesome! Plus, the Shinigami Illustrated Picture Book... GOLDEN! Was awesome in this episode, too. Particularly the very end. lol, that grin was priceless!

I finally caught up to the anime, in Japan. it was 10 episodes but still, lol i tend to like to watch my shows in bulk showings =) But I just couldn't wait any longer haha I should prolly start to pick up the Manga. but all I can say so far is wow. Some really good shit goin on right now.

Yay for the new opening and ending! For some reason, I really liked the Kon singing at the beginning of the new opening song; it looked odd, and made me laugh. His mouth moves very oddly in it.

Also, gotta love the ska ending. It's about time they got some ska in that soundtrack. The video is another one involving characters wearing clothing they would never actually wear.(Here, you can watch both of them, btw.)

As for the latest episode... Hmm... it was pretty good. Not as good as 119, however; 119 was just sweet. Anyhoo...

I like the new intro/outros. they're pretty good. The outro group did an ending for Naruto during the filler arc too.. I think they're called Ore Ska Band? The song they did for Naruto is called Pinochio though.. iono why, =P

As for the story, it's getting really intense heh. one week an episode.. >.< I think I might resort to reading the manga. haha

Something I've been looking forward to awhile was hearing Zaraki Kenpatchi's American voice actor, which we heard this weekend. It was alright. I think I like the original better, but this voice actor certainly is closer than Renji's. But enough negativity on the voice acting; there are actually a few of the American voice actors that I really appreciate. Like Ichigo's, Rukia's, and Yoruichi's, in particular, thus far. Those three have been really good, in my opinion. I also like Urahara's voice actor, even though his is fairly different from the original's. Most the others are fairly fitting, too.

I think I like some of the fansub dialogue better than the English dubbed dialogue, however; in particular, when Rukia is being taken away to... Soul Society, (I love the way they say it in the original japanese version) she says something like "some day, you will die, so just stay here and live for as long as you will!" Instead of the english dubbed translation, where she's like "just stay and live for a little longer!" To me, those two statements have very different meanings. So what if he could live for "just a little bit longer?" "Live as long as you will" just sounds so much more significant to me, somehow. Like she's saying "live your life, and forget about me," or something. Anyhoo...

I've gotten into the "Bounto" arch, at either episode 80 or 81. I liked the beginning a lot better than where the story has gone now. Maybe because there is no clear goal now, or something. Now, however, I don't feel much interest in watching any further, and I haven't for like a week. My friend has told me that there was a lot of potential for this arch, but that it was poorly executed. I can see it already. The one thing that I definitely like about this arch are the new mod souls, however; they're awesome. Even Ririn, who is the kind of character I usually do not like all that much at all. Maybe it's just her little birdy doll she uses; I love that thing.

I also loved when Chad first put Nova in that turtle doll, and they just stared at each other for like a minute or something before Kon came in. I was laughing even before Kon burst in. Nova is pretty cool. I like Claude a lot, too. Anyhoo...

I quite agree with on the voice dubbing thing. Like Gin for example in the jap. version they make him sound like a redneck saying things like "yer" and "fer" etc. but in the eng. version he almost sounds like a freakin' british person.
But I do find Ririn highly annoying, but I love Nova especially when he gets embarassed he zips up his hood so he won't show that he's blushing. Claude is ok but his hair is kinda scary.

yea but they only made him sound like that in the subs, because his voice actor, has or at least uses what is it.. well Iono from where, but I assume somewhere around Hokkaido for some reason.. an accent to say the least. You can hear it when he talks, and notice it when other people talk, that the way he speaks is different, which is why they give him an accent..

And Gin talks in the Kansai dialect, which is pretty much the hick dialect of japan. But his dub is british? My god, that's way off. I mean at least Azumanga's got Osaka's kind of okay, since she had a southern accent.

I am on volume 20 (still pretty new), but the interesting stuff is starting to happen...too bad all those bad people on Youtube spoiled the surprises for me. Aizen is a bad, bad man.

I also have a question. Can people in the Soul Society grow and get older? I mean, shouldn't they all be dead and non living? How can Rukia say to Ichigo "I've lived 15 of your human lives" when she was growing at the same pace as Ichigo? That's how it is showed in Renji's flashbacks in the volume 11 or something.

So... have people been keeping up with the current arc? Through all the filler? What did you think of the filler? I thought that three-part filler mini-arc with the little boy and girl souls dragged on really bad, and didn't keep my attention very well. In fact, I barely even got through it; I almost skipped to the newest episode that was out at the time (136 or something, I think.) The one episode fillers were much better, and the episode with Kon was probably my favorite (I think it was 135.) Kinda tugged at my sentimental heart strings a little bit.

As for what's going on right now... interesting. I am really glad

Spoiler: that we get to see Keisuke fight. He's one of my favorite characters in the entire show. I hope he kicks some ass, although given how the last episode left off, I don't know if that will be the case...

I'm also curious to see what happens with Ichigo.

Spoiler: What with him not being able to hold his mask for more than 11 seconds. I was really expecting him to just take off with that, but I suppose that would be too easy. It's kinda frustrating, because every time he reaches a new plateau, in one way or another he's told, "no, you still suck." I find it rather annoying.

I'm glad that Orihime is being given a bigger role again, too. I wonder what will happen with Chad and Ishida, as well. Will they get better, or will they go the way of Yamcha and Tiene? (Krillin too, kinda, but he remained an important character throughout the series.) Anyhoo...

I'm pretty sure they'll start playing a bigger role. If not, then the episodes where Chad and Renji are training were kind of pointless, same with Ishida and his father. Personally I'm a bit excited for Chad. I really liked him early on in the series but got disappointed once I realized how poor his powers were. I mean, he throws energy from his arm. Yeah, that's rad, but it's a one-trick-pony so far. I'd like to see his next level.

What's the current episode now? I stopped at 140 I think...
