I haven't seen it in the U.S. yet but I plan on whatching it when Adult Swim airs it next Saturday, I think.
I just watched the first to episodes last night, it looks like something I will probably watch more of. And yeah I saw that bit with the Leekspin being in much better quality of course, I always here or see "spin-off" kind of things before I see were it actually came from.

Its an excellent series, I have the entire series in Japanese, but I can not wait until the second episode comes out tomorrow. I also have fifteen manga volumes, ten figurenes, and 50 posters of it. I also have the video games as well, but they are in Japanese.
Bleach is my all-time favorite. I'm on episode 97.
Favorite characters are Kurosaki Ichigo, Hitsugaya, and Kuchiki Byakuya.
It is indeed an absolutely amazing anime, happened to be the first i ever saw and i fell in love with it, now i watch everything related to anime (FLCL, Full metal Alchemist, Outlaw Star, Tenchi Muyo, Naruto) and i also recently started reading manga, Bleach manga but my FAVE Manga is Deahnote............ anyway yeah bleach is awesome
bleach is good but not better then naruto.....still hitsugaya or something rulez in there......hoping the fillers will end soon
Saw the first two episodes on Adult Swim, and loved it immediately. However, I've been out the past couple weekends and haven't seen an episode since. I'd watch it but I'm trying way too hard to finish Naruto (which I'm not even halfway through yet).
But yeah, it made me happy in ways that animes haven't made me happy before.

I haven't really watched the Anime, but I read some of the Manga.
I read all the manga that they have released so far. And the story line is diffrent. But the story is so well.
I anime in eglish is pretty good, all the chracters voice actors match pretty well I think. It just wish adult swim would show more episodes than just one every Saturday. It's driving me crazy, but it's still wicked.

I've been following the anime since it started on Adult Swim. It's pretty interesting (though I'm far more obsessed with the show preceding it, Trinity Blood). I think it's got a really solid dub, too. Viz is really kicking it up a knotch with their dubbing. I'm liking Uehara right now, but I wish we'd see more of him/get to know more about him. But yeah...all in all, a good show.
Yeah Viz is pretty bad ass with the english dubbing. Trinity Blood is frikin awesome to.
But Bleach will get better, I mean the story is getting closer to when Ruika's brother and Renji arrive.
I wonder what all the Soul Reaper voices are gonna sound like in English. I always thought Jet (Cow Boybepop) voice actor would be perfect for Renji because he looks like the type, but I could be wrong. Ruika's older brother I have no clue.

OMG! I absolutely love Bleach, i love Ichigo, his little sister karin is hilarious and thier father is a dork. And if you saw last week's episode you know what i mean by a dork.
Yeah they had like a big marathon of Bleach on Adult Swim last night. I was kind of mad though.
Because I thought it was goanna be a new episode. And it was the episode when Renji and Rukia's older brother come to get her. Darn it.

THE STORY OF BLEACH:Bleach follows the life of Ichigo Kurosaki, a 15-year-old high school student with the ability to see ghosts, and a shinigami (literally god of death), or Soul Reaper in the English manga, named Rukia Kuchiki, who runs into him one day while searching for a hollow (an evil spirit that eats souls). During the battle with the spirit, Rukia is wounded and forced to transfer all of her powers into Ichigo. Thus the adventures of Ichigo and Rukia begin. Together they search for hollows and perform soul burials on Misguided souls, cleansing the spirits and sending them to Soul Society. The early parts of the story focus mainly on the relationships between the characters, rather than the actual occupation of the shinigami. However, as events unfold, the story begins to reach deeper into the world of these gods of death on the "other side" called Soul Society.(If you want to watch Bleach, Go to youtube.com and Search Bleach Episode 1. The First couple of episodes are kinda slow, but if you can get past them, they get really good at about 20-On)

Yeah the quincy dude is named Uryū Ishida. He like him also because he's frikin powerful. And he trys to act cool but he's actually a hilarous when Ichigo is with him.
The story itself is awesome. I love it how every Soul Repear has a hidden power called Ban Kai. And each Ban Kai is diffrent for everyone.
I think that is so frikin cool how they made that.

So, I've been watching this anime all day yesterday and today, because my friend lent me his DVD set, with the first 56 episodes. I'd already seen all the episodes up to 15 in English, though. But dayum, this show has drawn me in. And dayum, has it changed since episode 16. Once they get to Soul Society, everything really seems to get turned onto its head. It's almost like watching a completely different anime, even though there are certain things that tie in with the earlier episodes too. Probably because for the first 16 episodes, there were just random events and characters getting introduced. Past 16, however, every episode has been "to be continued..." Dun dun dun...
My favorite character is probably Kon. He's a hilarious little bastard. My friend who watched this anime before everyone else also assigned a bunch of us to different characters based on our personalities... and I got Kon. lol. Oh well. Everyone he assigned characters to made sense, too, for the most part. A few I couldn't see, but some are really freaking accurate.
What's weird was that I already knew some things abot the show, because my friend talked about it with other people before I saw the episodes, so I knew how some characters were going to turn out (like Zaraki, Renji, and eventually Ichigo's dad, though I haven't seen that far yet.)
I'm glad the English Dub version called the "Death Gods" "Soul Reapers" instead. That makes more sense to me; they aren't gods. Although I suppose whatever word it is they are called in Japanese translates directly to that, eh? (Shinigami, right?)
I've also noticed something about almost every character in this anime; they are so damned resolute that they are going to do something, or act in a certain way, no matter what, it seems. Like, it defines their very existence, and to admit that they were wrong about something would be the worst thing ever. Probably has to do with their "honor," or something, eh? It's kinda frustrating to me.btw: I really don't like Byakuya at this point. Of course, I didn't like Renji at first either, but now I think he's pretty cool. Anyhoo...
Spoiler: Like, most recently, Rukia's whole "You idiot, Ichigo! Run away from everything! You're too weak!" I mean, she was right to an extent, but when he stopped that big freakin' halberd bird (I forget what it's called) and she still doesn't believe in him? WTF, mate? Because Ichigo is still gonna lose to Byakuya, apparently, even though he just stopped something which is supposed to be a thousand times stronger than any one of their swords. And he might; I wouldn't put it past this anime.

Bleach is one of my top favorite shows.
Among the english dubbings of the recent hot animes, Viz did an EXCELLENT job on dubbing Bleach. I mean, if you say the dubbing for Bleach is bad, you obviously haven't watched the dubbings for other animes enough yet to to judge.
My favorite Shinigami would probably be Toshiro Hitsugaya. I like his ice element techniques and he's voiced by Romi Paku <_< (who did Edward in FMA and Ueki in The Law of Ueki)
Other than him, it'll be Ishida. The power of the Quincys are so cool...
To me, Bleach is one of the rarer series where the anime is better than the manga. Even the Bount Arc is pretty well done (at least, when compared to Naruto's fillers -_-).
No kidding, Naruto is such a joke now, I can't bring myself to even be in the same room with someone watching an episode.
But yeah, looks like 109 marked the final episode of the Bounto Arc. Hopefully things will focus back on Aizen and the Hollows. The theme played at the end when that blonde guy shows up is definetley the Hollow theme; so fingers crossed.
So, on adult swim now, they just showed the first episode with Renji and Byakuya, finally. I watched this episode and the episodes after it again today at my friends' house. This post is mostly going to be in spoiler, but...
Sorry, it just bothered me. Anyhoo...
Spoiler: What the hell is up with Renji? At first, he's all like "I'm gonna kill you, Rukia! Wa ha ha!" and he totally tried to cut her the hell up. He also told Ichigo "you'll die here, and Rukia will go back to Soul Society and die as well." Then later, he tells Rukia "You don't want to get into any more trouble than you're already in!" As if it can get any worse than execution... and then even later, he's totally surprised that she's gonna die, and eventually will do anything in his power to save her.
Point A to Point B... how?! And why was he surprised that she would be executed when he himself was trying to kill her?!

Speaking of Renji, I know some people that are pretty up in arms about his English voice. Personally, I don't find it to be terrible, though they're all saying his Japanese voice is deeper and whatnot, so I'll give it to them (I've been following it on Adult Swim and only saw two or three episodes subtitled, though a friend of mine did make it a point to show me a clip with Renji's original voice to prove to me how the Japanese was "better").
The problem with Renji aside, though (as I kind of agree with my companions, though, for the record, I don't loath his English VA, either), the Bleach dub is very solid and continues to make me quite happy.
From a plot standpoint, things have certainly been heating up lately, and tonight's episode (17) kept me on the edge of my seat all the way through. Needless to say, I'll be eagerly awaiting next week's episode.
THANK GOD! I was really tired of those Bounto guys and personally felt like they were stalling the actual storyline. Now I shall be getting back into Bleach, lol. I stopped in the middle of the bounto arc because pretty much it...well it sucked IMO. It was interesting, but it just felt like a sub-plot that really wasn't needed. I enjoyed some of the fights and stuff, that's pretty much it.
Yeah, I didn't really like Renji's English dub voice the first time I heard it, either. It sounds kinda silly to me, especially compared to the original voice actor's voice acting, which was lower and, in my opinion, much cooler sounding; more bad-arse. In comparrison, to me, the english Renji sounds like a silly punk. Anyhoo...

Yeah I agree ususally im fine with english voice acting. But with Renji I was a little sad. I read the manga first and when I first saw him I thought of him having a deep voice also. But they gave him a kind of light voice tone. But I still like Renji. His sword is frikin awesome.

Something I've been looking forward to awhile was hearing Zaraki Kenpatchi's American voice actor, which we heard this weekend. It was alright. I think I like the original better, but this voice actor certainly is closer than Renji's. But enough negativity on the voice acting; there are actually a few of the American voice actors that I really appreciate. Like Ichigo's, Rukia's, and Yoruichi's, in particular, thus far. Those three have been really good, in my opinion. I also like Urahara's voice actor, even though his is fairly different from the original's. Most the others are fairly fitting, too.
I think I like some of the fansub dialogue better than the English dubbed dialogue, however; in particular, when Rukia is being taken away to... Soul Society, (I love the way they say it in the original japanese version) she says something like "some day, you will die, so just stay here and live for as long as you will!" Instead of the english dubbed translation, where she's like "just stay and live for a little longer!" To me, those two statements have very different meanings. So what if he could live for "just a little bit longer?" "Live as long as you will" just sounds so much more significant to me, somehow. Like she's saying "live your life, and forget about me," or something. Anyhoo...
I've gotten into the "Bounto" arch, at either episode 80 or 81. I liked the beginning a lot better than where the story has gone now. Maybe because there is no clear goal now, or something. Now, however, I don't feel much interest in watching any further, and I haven't for like a week. My friend has told me that there was a lot of potential for this arch, but that it was poorly executed. I can see it already. The one thing that I definitely like about this arch are the new mod souls, however; they're awesome. Even Ririn, who is the kind of character I usually do not like all that much at all. Maybe it's just her little birdy doll she uses; I love that thing.
I also loved when Chad first put Nova in that turtle doll, and they just stared at each other for like a minute or something before Kon came in. I was laughing even before Kon burst in. Nova is pretty cool. I like Claude a lot, too. Anyhoo...

I love bleach, its the most awesome anime ever! Renji got on my nerves when I first saw him since im a big IchigoXRukia fan I don't want nothing happening to either of them. But i quickly withdrawed my annoyance for him after a few episodes since he really wasn't that bad of a guy. But im still for Ichigo and Ruika though, heh heh.
What i want to know is if they ever get together, some no it all chick told me that they didn't and i wanted to back hand her SO bad. But i kept myself composed and just beat up my kikyo plush when i got home(I despise kikyo...from inuyasha)
And by the way Kalisto I'm all for opinons but i think Naruto rocks socks, if u don't like the believe it and such than watch the japanese episodes, or read the manga he dosn't say it there!
