Yeah, i need to get a hold of the manga too, (its an Epic Manga,around 2200 pages long) Imo the only shotty voice acting in Akira was the espers (little blue kids). I was hard to listen to them somtimes.

Anywho, I love the movie. I haven't had a chance to read any of the manga but I own the movie and I watch it every couple weeks or so. The scene at the school still makes me laugh.

Loved Yamgata(Probable spelling error), he was easily my favorite charecter. He brought a sence of seriousness and at the same time that "lets go!" atitude. Great flick though.
