PS4 Beta will arrive in February, PS3 users will get FFXIV free for PS4

A few announcements for Final Fantasy XIV came out during the Sony Conference earlier today. The comment that the PS4 version of the game would be coming sooner than expected became clearer with a date set for the PS4 beta version. It will be available the date of the PS4 is launched in Japan, February 22nd. And as a surprise to many, all players on the PS3 version of FFXIV will get the PS4 version of the game free. Making it very easy once you have to new console to upgrade.
