oh nice one letter its very funny and help full thanks
Previously, I reported about the Q&A session that producer Naoki Yoshida had last week. I was unable to access the video after it was live streamed, but it is now available on youtube. There is a transition available through youtube that will have to be enabled, but you will be able to learn about more specifics that were not in the brief Q&A provided last week. The video is two hours long and will take me sometime to cover. But I will try to pull out the specifics that might interest others.
One part that was explained was the housing feature in the video. It seems that Square Enix CEO Yoichi Wada was very interested with the housing feature and showed off pictures of the various types. One of the largest houses available was shown off with a human scale in the figure several times shorter in height to the houses. It still looked like a two story structure, but it may have high ceilings or more stories that clear from the video.
It seems that they want to include a lot of customization with the houses. Initially, the house system is going to be only available for the free companies, so it'll be like a guild hall for your group. And then the owner can set different restrictions on the things in the house and people will be able to live in different parts of the house. It sounded like there may be some instancing with the rooms possibly, but it was not completely clear. One of the concept art shown appeared to be a housing district, as though players will be able to travel to a specific part of the city and see everyone's houses before entering. Additionally, Yoshida spoke of changing the color of the houses and even components like the roof, implying the player will have a fair amount of control on the final appearance and keeping homes from all looking alike.
Also shown off was parts players can add to the houses like the towers and parks mentioned before. These will provide bonuses to everyone associated to the house. It is not explained where and how this will connect, but it sounds like there will be the option to have several and likely with different bonuses.
Curious? There's no limits but your own imagination.
