Heavensward Release Date Revealed Coming with Mac Port

Yoshida had a lot of new things to show and reveal during the PAX East presentation for Final Fantasy XIV. The biggest one for fans of the game was the release date of the expansion. It had been promised to be sometime in Spring 2015 in earlier reveals. From the presentation, it sounds like the original release date that they were shooting for was in May, but since they want more time to work on the game it has been pushed out to June 23rd, 2015. There is early access available as well opening on June 19th.

He was also able to confirm that the Mac port will be able on the release of the expansion.
