Excalibur Teased for FFXIV

A blog post recently put up by one of the staff for Final Fantasy XIV revealed an image teasing a new weapon for the game. The post is brief on details beyond the image. But current speculation believes that the image posted of the Excalibur weapon is what may be the final appearance of the relic weapon when the line of quests ends. Yoshida has stated in past Q&As that the final form of the weapons would have a change in appearance. Which until now, the change has mostly just different glows or stronger glows coming from the weapon.
