For help on getting trophies or achievements on FFXIII.

    Ultimate Hero (Hidden)
    Acquired all trophies/achievements.

    - Simple trophy, hard to get. As the description says, you need to earn all trophies/achievements (excluding this one of course) to get it.

    Instrument of Fate (Hidden)

    Story-related, can't miss. Complete Chapter 1.

Slipped through the net and live to fight another day.

    Story-related, can't miss. Complete Chapter 4.

Resolved to be more than a victim of circumstance.

    Story-related, can't miss. Complete Chapter 5.

Made plans to infiltrate enemy-occupied territory.

    Story-related, can't miss. Complete Chapter 7.

    Instrument of Hope (Hidden)
Traveled to the world below, seeking a way to alter fate.

    Story-related, can't miss. Complete Chapter 11.

    Instrument of Faith (Hidden)
Defied destiny's charge and embarked on a different path.

    Story-related, can't miss. Complete Chapter 12.

    Instrument of Change (Hidden)
Witnessed the dawn of a new crystal legend.

    Story-related, can't miss. Complete Chapter 13/the game.

    Pulsian Pioneer (Hidden)
Took over 10,000 steps on the lowerworld surface.

This means take 10,000 steps on Gran Pulse. Check with the robot in Oerba for this trophy. Very easy, and you should get this after story-completion.

    Gysahl Wreath (Hidden)
Discovered buried treasure with a little help from a chocobo.

Discover treasure on Gran Pulse 20 times with a Chocobo. You unlock Chocobos after a certain 'Cieth Mission Completion (M. 14 I think). You get the Ribbon as well.

    Kelger's Cup (Hidden)
Completed all low-level 'Cieth Stone Missions.

Complete all D-ranked 'Cieth Stone Missions. Stones are scattered throughout Gran Pulse and you must complete their focus in order to complete the mission.

    Xezat's Chalice (Hidden)
Completed all mid-level 'Cieth Stone Missions.

Complete all C-Ranked 'Cieth Stone Missions. See Kelger's Cup for the Stones.

    Exorcist (Hidden)
Triumphed over undying lowerworld souls in seven fierce battles.

    Complete 'Cieth Missions 7, 12, 27, 30, 34, 51, 64.

    Floraphobe (Hidden)
Toppled a green terror and cut an oversized succulent down to size.

This Hunt is for mark #54, a Gigantuar. The Cie'th Stone location for this hunt is located in the Archlyte Steppe-Northern Highplain. Once the Stone has been activated for the hunt, you will find the mark in the Archlyte Steppe-Eastern Tors. You cannot reach the Gigantuar without a Chocobo!!The unlock condition for this battle is to Find a Cactuar. The Gigantuar, much like every other Cactuar on every Final Fantasy game, uses his beloved 10,000 Needles attack which as you probably guessed takes down 10,000 hit points per attack and attacks at a fairly quick pace.

    Natural Selector (Hidden)
    Passed Titan's Trials.

The Titan's Trials are a series of enormously difficult Hunts that take place on a series of paths in the Faultwarrens area. You can only face a maximum of 5 Titan's per trip meaning you will need to travel through the area 6 times to defeat all the marks located within the trials. You will also have to reface the Titan's you have already defeated as you retravel through the area to the new Hunts.

    Dorgann's Trophy (Hidden)
Completed all high-level Cie'th Stone missions.

For this trophy you must complete all Class B Mark missions in the hunt side quests.

    Galuf's Grail (Hidden)
    Completed all Cie'th Stone missions.

For this trophy you must complete all the Hunt missions. inc. Class A Missions.

    L'Cie Paragon (Hidden)
Earned a 5-star ranking for all Cie'th Stone missions.

This trophy will probably be the most difficult trophy in the entire game. If you are having trouble getting a 5 star rating you can either try switching to lower ranked weapons, because the game computes the weapon level into your time limit, or you can wait until after the final hunt when you acquire the Gold Watch accessory, which extends your target time fo finish the hunt, and try with that as well. You will also unlock a PS3 theme for Snow with this trophy.

    Commando's Seal
    Master the Commando Role

Complete Lv.5 Commando Crystarium for any character.

    Ravager's Seal
    Master the Ravager Role.

Complete Lv.5 Ravager Crystarium for any character.

    Sentinel's Seal
    Master the Sentinel's Role

Complete Lv.5 Sentinel Crystarium for any character.

    Saboteur's Seal
    Master the Saboteur's Role

Complete Lv.5 Saboteur Crystarium for any character.

    Synergist's Seal
    Master the Synergist's Role

Complete Lv.5 Synergist Crystarium for any character.

    Medic's Seal
    Master the Medic's Role

Complete Lv.5 Medic Crystarium for any character.

    Limit Breaker
Dealt 100,000+ damage with a single attack

Very easy trophy. When your acquire Bahamut for Fang. Summon him, and instanty go into the Driving Mode and exceute Mega Flare Lv.3. Should do 100,000+ damage.

    Adamant Will
Felled a Heavyweight of the Lowerworld Wilds

For this trophy you must defeat a Long Gui. These massive creatures look similar to an Adamantortoise and will show up in the Archlyte Steppe after you have completed hunts #56-#62. You shouldn't attempt this until you are already fully maxed on your primary Crystalarium role and have maxed weapons or are very close to this point. You CANNOT sneak up on a Long Gui so don't even bother trying, or retrying to do it.

    Master's Seal
    Fully developed all characters

This will most likely be the most time consuming trophy in the entire game. For this trophy you must fully develop all characters for all 6 Crystarium roles: Commando, Ravager, Medic, Synergist, Sentinel, and Saboteur to level 5 with all abilities. This can only be accomplished after you unlock the Level 5 paths after you complete the game. Once you obtain the Growth Egg from Hunt #55 Equip this immediately to receive double CP!

    Treasure Hunter
    Held every weapon and accessory

For this trophy/achievement you must have had in your inventory, at one time or another, every weapon and accessory available in the game. You don't need to have them all at once, just at one point or another so I suggest starting a checklist so you can sell items and keep track of what you have had. Some weapons and accessories can only be acquired from upgrading through the save/shop stations. There are eight weapon groups per character, and 8 different Ultimate Weapons HOWEVER You only need to have held one Ultimate Weapon for each character for the trophy. Once you have completed all the requirements speak to Bhakti to receive your trophy/achievment.

    Loremaster
Discerned the full attributes of 100 enemies

You should get this during Ch.10-11. Just use a Librascope/Libra at the start of every different battle you encounter, or battle the enemy 2-3 times to automatically discern the attributes.

    Superstar (Hidden)
Get a 5-star rating on the final boss.

This is on Orphan's second form (the clock-shaped guy). This is a mere impossible on your first playthrough. So afterwards, finish a role or two of Stage 10 Crystarium and go back to Orphan's Cradle and re-do the final boss.

    Here's a must to earn a 5-star rating.

Stagger it early (25-40 secs in).
You must defeat it on it's first stagger, second would take too long.
At the start have some Synergists and Saboteurs for a quick 5-10 secs then switch over to Ravager, Ravager, Ravager (Tri-disaster) and throw all in. If the chain bar depelets quickly throw in a Commander to slow it down and stagger it. At this point, have 2 Ravagers and a Commando, Use Fang's Highwind whenever possible and when the Stagger reaches 999.99% (max) go to 3 Commandos (Cerberus) and smash and hack.

Special Attacks come in handy here and don't forget to use your strongest, well-equipped characters. HP doesn't really matter here, as you don't have any time to heal.

    Finished!

Exactly. A great example is the weapons--you need to have one of every weapon at stage 2, but only one of them needs to be upgraded to the ultimate level for each character.

I don't know if the gamer photos are unlocked by the same achievements, but I do know that they are unlocked on the PS3 by earning certain trophies. Sazh and Vanille's are both gained from storyline trophies; the rest are from optional ones. Snow from L'Cie Paragon, Fang from Treasure Hunter, Serah from earning the Platinum trophy. I don't remember the others at the moment.

if you select extras in the main menus of the game and then select gamer pictures, select the pcture you have unlocked. Then you should be able to see how you unlocked it...
