That Pond

I'm on the Archylte Steppe and there's a pond with a sphere in the middle. There are jump marks but I cant use them. What do I have to do the get to the middle of the pond, please?

The jump marks are probably yellow and when you see yellow jump marks that means you can only access that area with a chocobo. So you'll have to get a chocobo or unlock access to chocobos and then pick one up. I don't know if you have the ability to ride them yet, depends on what missions you've completed.

yeah you have to complete the C'ieth stone mission 12 to be able to get to the Font of Namva area, then complete mission 14 to get Gysahl Reins to be able to ride a chocobo, then make the jump
