I'd love to have that in EU as well. Though I wish they put it to X and X-2 HD as well because that's where I liked the Japanese voices much better than the English ones.
In a surprise announcement, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will be the first Final Fantasy game to be released in North America that will allow players to play the game in the original Japanese. The game will not be shipping with it available though, it will be DLC available to the player. The first two weeks all players will be able to download it for free, but it will be charged afterwards. The important thing to remember, unlike many JRPGs and even Japanese games, Square Enix reworks the lip-sync for their games to get the English dub to match the mouth movements. This has become a norm since Final Fantasy XIII release. The DLC will come with the Japanese audio and lip-sync changes. So everything will still look nature even with the characters speaking in Japanese.
