Somehow, I knew this was going to come up at one point. I wonder whats next? Rosa's gown outfit? Rydia's summoner garb? Terra's dress? Faris' pirate uniform?
Lightning has a Locke-Inspired Outfit
There continues to be plenty of clothing options not seen yet for the soon to be released Lightning Returns. Given they have confirmed the game to have more than 80 different attires, there is going to be a lot unseen. The one talked about in a recent article from Dengeki it was asked about the Heartstealer outfit. Which they confirmed was inspired by the original designs made by Amano for Final Fantasy VI. But common with Amano's designs, it was too detailed and elaborate for them to achieve the same in game.

Yeah it was along the lines of a joke, but I was actually curious at the same time if those costumes were to appear in the game.

FF13-3: Lightning shopping spree.
Though I haven't played 6 yet I gotta say this looks good. Somehow the other outfits inspired by other games don't look so good on her (Yuna, Aerith). Design's a design.
Could also be because her personality is so much different. Though I'm happy to see her smile a bit more in this game.
