Whoever put that Saurian there must've had quite the sense of humor, or was just plain sadistic. Probably a sadist. With sadistic humor. Yes. I never realized until even later that that Saurian was actually "green" and wouldn't attack you unless you decided to poke it first, so I always panicked when running through the estersand early in the game on my first and..probably second play through too, heh.

OH now that I think of it, I had another game over, but it was before Judge Ghis, that battle right before, with some lesser judges and random imperial soldiers. GAH. I was stuck leveling up on that stupid ship for a week. Running around in the same boring mechanical environment having to activate annoying alarms is not my idea of fun...

@Jeremy: The gil snapper? : ) It was a bitch to me too, and I barely made it. Wohoo.

But still I've found that as long as you keep HEALING all the freaking time, even on monsters pretty far above your own level, you'll make it, even if it takes time. The Pylraster and that dragon mark in the Paramina rift were incredibly tough for me, and I had times where I had to sit for like 10 minutes and just heal my party back and forth until I even had oppurtunity to start attacking again... I don't get these people who take these low level challenges though, how do they manage not to die?
