Ive got about 45 hours,and I m in just doing hunts and crap right now to get gil for more magick and techniks and crap before i continue with the story.Storyline wise I have to kill the damn dragon in golmore jungle.Im about lvl. 30 since I've been levelin up a bit.
I have been playing for just over seven hours and am up to saving Penelo at the mines. I only got the game last Monday since it only came out over here in Australia late last month. I have been trying to level up my characters a little bit so they obviously get stronger. I haven't had very many problems battling so far, at first I was confused about how things worked.
I haven't been playing a lot, I'll start playing a lot more though hopefully. I keep running out of time lol.
For storyline purposes, I'm working my way through the Feywood to the holy city.
I'm currently trying to see how many of the side quests I can get cleared up. Everyone's at level 48 or 49. I've got about 85(!) hours clocked so far.

I'm just leveling my characters so that I can beat Yiazimat. Everyone is around level 80.

I deal about 900-1350 varying from character oh yeah and I also lost my chance of getting the zodiac spear DAMN
I started a new game today, I am going to follow the Power level guide however I am going to leave that game and go through it once I have completed it on my first save.
Of which I am also at Phon Beach (and yes missed out on the Zodiac Spear, partly the reason for the new game). Everybody is around level 32, got everybody with their 3 Mist Quickenings and all the HP bonuses so everybody has roughly 2200 - 2800hp. 45 Hours into it I believe, I need to find those Green things the chocobos like so I can go to that other area, I believe you can buy them somewhere but I cant remember where exactly.
Yeah you can buy them in rabanastre from the clan merchant for 108 gil each if my memory serves me correct.How are you at 2800 hp at level 32 cause I'm at level 42 now at phon beach also with 2700 hp and i bought the hp bonuses on the licence board(500,200,250 etc).Oh I have a question
How do you obtain this scartch(something like that) black magic i bought the licence for 120 and am wondering where it is also is it any good,I'm assuming its like ultima.
I finally got past Judge Ghis. It took me three times but I did it. I think I should have levelled up some of my characters more, a few of them are only on 11. I didn't think I was even going to defeat him on the third go because all of my characters were KO'd.. except for Penelo and Ashe. Those girls got rid of him for me and I was very happy. I certainly didn't want to do that part again. So I am just past that stage, I'm looking forward to playing again today!
Well from playing the old FF Games I have learnt to try and get those kind of bonuses ASAP as whilst I am not 100% accurate I believe a lot of the time your HP gain at each level from a percentage of what you already have so the higher your HP the higher your increase will be or something like that. I am not sure how much I gain at each level how ever my Basch has the highest, being level 33 he has 2658hp, My Penelo has the highest MP at 127x3. But yeah sometimes the effort to go through under levelled pays off in the end.Originally Posted by penance

I,m at lvl 45 now and am in old archades.Them battles in that cave before hand were dead hard especially that ahiram boss when he clones himself.
I don't have my stats in front of me. I just wanted to get this in before I have to put my computer away. My characters are levels 80 and 81.
I have completed all Clan hunts except Yiazmat, who I am currently battling. I have him over halfway down, but he has suddenly gotten tougher. It's been about 6 hours so far, and may end up being 8 before I defeat him.
I have all Espers except Zodiark. I have yet to be able to defeat him. I come close, but he KO's all my characters before I can finish him.
I have 20 of the Hunt Club hunts completed, and over 50 Rare Games total.
My beastiary is not far from being completed, but there are some things I can't seem to get to respawn, such as the Ghosts in the Garamsythe Waterway.
I'll post a more detailed synopsis of my game in the next few days.
I just bet Cid in the draklor labs and my charcs are at lvl 50(thats vaan,basch and ashe) i'm clocked at about 67 hours or so.
I should have the game beat by this weekend, that's how close I am!
Right now I'm running around collecting loot to sell so I can buy magic (I think I need Flare and something else). And I want to level up some more. Everyone's at 58/59.

I have completed the storyline and have been doing what's left. I am currently battling Yiazmat, and almost have him defeated. He's down to 3.5 HP bars and has become extremely difficult to battle.

I beat the game last night. I got sick of running around killing things for loot so I just went for it. I was totally unprepared but loads of Quickenings over and over is what got me though.
Everyone was around level 60. I had about 110 hours clocked.

I am up to the Tomb of Raithwall. I only got there yesterday actually. I hadn't played the game for almost a whole week because I have been sort of busy. I have been spending a little time leveling up since my characters are only on levels 15-17 at the moment. I want to be at least level 18 before I go into the tomb. Hopefully this part of the game isn't too difficult for me lol. Ths boss you fight just before you get to the tomb was very easy in my opinion. I was expecting something a lot harder.
You'll have some tough enemies in the tomb but nothing over hard.
I'm at level 60 now with my trio(ashe,Basch and Vaan)and just got past the feywood in a place called girivela or something like that i am just doin hunts and obtaining the other espers at the moment cuchulann is next.I've already obtained belias,mateus,adremilach,zelmara and exodus.
I beat the game (everyone was at level 63 and I had about 110 hours of gameplay), and now I'm trying to finish the rest of the missions (just fought Gilgamesh from FFV, sweet) and get the rest of the summonings(got through Barheim Passage the second time going in and got that one summoning, I can't remember his name). I actually just left Eruyt Village today and am now off to the Henne Mines. I was reading an online walkthrough and it looks as though a difficult boss is coming up. I don't think I am looking forward to that very much! I'll probably end up having a lot of trouble with it. I think I might do some leveling up first anyway so I am slightly prepared with what's to come.

Yeah you have 2 tough bosses the tiamat(hard because of disablaga) and the hardest boss i fought(and im at the end of the game) the elder wyrm,my advice if you cant beat the elder wyrm just go south of golmore to get to your destination anyway thats what i did.also what level are you at,i was only 24 so i didn't fight the wyrm.I actually just left Eruyt Village today and am now off to the Henne Mines. I didn't realize you could bypass fighting the Elder Wyrm. For some reason I keep thinking that there's a block on the passages until you beat it.
Hmmm... I found that boss quite annoying. I just might bypass it myself!

I finished the game (as in beat, not completed) a while ago, and I was bummed that you couldn't continue playing after the final resolution. I understand why after the last cutscene, but still... I had planned on doing a few more things, haha.
I'll probably go back to my last save and do all of that stuff soon. It's been weighing on my mind lately.
I've been thinking about picking up from my last save in the game myself. There are still plenty of espers to get, clan hunts to do, rare hunts to kill and I'd really like to be at a higher level for the final boss.
Or I could just start over.....

But yes, I did. I didn't find it that hard, with the exception of that one spot where those skeletons spawn very rapidly on those train tracks. That sucked.
Larsa and his infinite potions helped quite a bit as well. He's definitely my fave guest character.
