What are the 2 different ways (include specifics on locations and odds of obtaining) you can obtain the Zodiak Spear?
No one has taken a shot at this, so I'll go ahead and answer it:
A:
First way: Do not open the treasure chest in four certain locations. The chests are located:
Rabanastre: Treasure chest in Lowtown, outside of Old Dalan's place
Rabanastre: When sneaking into the palace (Before getting the Goddess Tear), there are several chests in the Cellar. Do not open the two chests in the southeast corner.
Nalbina: All treasure chests in Nalbina Dungeon's Confiscatory, where Vaan, Balthier, and Fran regain their lost weapons and equipment.
Phon Coast: At Phon Coast, there is a beach with 16 chests placed in a grid. The 4th chest that must not be opened is among these, so it is best to leave them all alone.
If you don't open them, then the spear will be in the Necrohol of Nabudis in the Cloister of the Highborn in the second chest from the left in the front row. You also cannot have the Diamond Armlet equipped.
Second way:
A second Zodiac Spear can be obtained in an alternative site, the Henne Mines's Phase 2 Dig. The chest is hidden in a secluded area
The chances for the chest to spawn is 10 percent, the chance the chest contains an item is 10 percent, and the item being the Zodiac Spear another 10 percent. So, there is only a 1 in 1000 chance that the Spear will appear.
The lead character must wear the Diamond Armlet in order to receive the spear.

Naw, Quickenings are kind of a chain of attacks, so it's not really a single attack. And Soul Purge beats Final Eclipse when the conditions are met, so that makes it the second strongest attack. However, there's one more that is stronger than Soul Purge when the conditions are met.
