Hello everyone!
As the title states, I've recently tried countless times to instal FF8 on my PC (Pentium Dual-Core 2.80 with Windows Vista Home 64-bit), but it never passes the InstallShield iniciation process...
When it gets to 100% it just kinda freezes or something alike, because the instalation process still keeps open on the Task Manager...
Is there anything that I can do?
Thanks.
Come on!
Not even 1 advice, some way to help me with this?

Given the age of the program, I would force it to run in Windows 98 mode. See if the installer works then, and once completed, also have the game run in Windows 98 mode as well. Every copy of Windows has built-in emulators for the previous generations. You can change the mode a program runs in through the properties in the .exe file.

There is a patch you can download for FFVIII which enables you to run the game on a Vista machine. Search up the 1.2 patch on google and there should be some download sites for the patch. Try the patch and see if that will correct your installation problem. Hope my suggestion helps!
Try creating virtual Windows 98 or even XP on your Windows Vista and if possible instal it there, that's pretty much the only way Final Fantasy VIII used to work for me.
