As we all know, Final Fantasy 8 has many different female characters, quistis, riona, selphile, eden and many many more. I am curious to know which of these are your favorite. My personal favorite is Selphie, not only because she's pretty cute but also because her limit breaks are pretty cool. She's my fav character in the game besides squall, but I'd like to know what you think.

Rinoa. Call me lame or what say you, but I adore her character for some reason. She brought Squall out of his shell and made him a better person. Although, I do agree she can be a pain, but every girl can be a pain. The fact that she was able to move away from her father and make her own life was something I looked up to as a child. She was pretty cute in that white dress too. She was pretty strong once you leveled her up as well.
I also liked Edea. And Xu. She's hilarious.

Selphie is my favorite female character in Final Fantasy VIII. Mainly, because she has a happy-go-lucky spirit. And her outlook on life is not one a person expects to see in a trained killer. She is very positive and upbeat. And she has some fabulous hair products in order to get her hair to do what it does.

Rinoa. She made for a good balance to Squall and I love her upbeat attitude. Plus, Angel Wing was one of the coolest Limit Breaks ever. Berserk magic casting with massive damage? Yes please.

Quistis, because she is hot, and introduced me with Final Fantasy world
But my favorite was Rinoa. Same reasons mentioned upper! She made a new peronality of Squall.
I will say Ultimecia. I'm a major fan of breasts and Ultimecia has something really special going on in that department. Especially in dissidia where shes got a few more pixels to add to her bulk.

Rinoa. She is one charming gal. And Edea. Both of them I like.
My favorite by far is Quistis. She's intelligent, beautiful and thoroughly badass. Her weapon is all kinds of awesome and blue magic is very useful.
I also liked Xu, but unfortunately you can't play as her.

Depends on what way you are asking the question. In looks my vote is a toss up between Selphie and Rinoa. For being hard it is between Selphie and Quistis. Hard for me to pick a fave overall but looking at the two previous answers it points towards Selphie.
Selphie, as I always like the cheery characters.
Edea, first and foremost. She looked HOT in that slinky black outfit. The gold eyes, the long black hair... a MILF way before they coined the term.
Rinoa was also a favorite, I like a romantic type. Quistis... well, there's something to be said for the naughty librarian type. And Fujin. Dunno why, but the white hair and eyepatch intrigued me. It sure as hell wasn't her conversational skills.
Quistis by far. I liked her character's story and I am a sucker for blue mages.

Selphie for sure, she's upbeat and she's also very cute.
Selphie has always been one of my favorite Final Fantasy characters ^_^ She reminds of myself: very cheerful, clumsy and cutesy. I really wanted to name my daughter Selphie but opted for Sophie.

this is a tough one for me because i enjoyed playing as both quistis and selphie both of them are very attractive in the game. it would be no contest if selphie rocked those nunchucks like bruce lee but i think ill have to decide between cute and playful and hot and mature and thats a tough choice but id probably have to go with quistis

None of the girls in FF8 really hit my sweet spot, except for maybe Fujin, in a humorous way.
But Selphie was cute.
I've never gotten more than 30 minutes into this game. So with that being said.

Rinoa hands down. I love how headstrong and brave she becomes over the course of the game and how she's not afraid to stand up and fight for her beliefs. Instead of just talking about what she wants to do she goes out there and does it. She is awesome
