Best Airships you have seen.

After going through this game several times. and seeing all the Airships flying around. what was your favored type of airship you have seen and would have. flyable or non.

I never did like Airships in FFIX. I much preferred using my Gold Choco to fly around. Honestly, though, I completely ditched the Invincible when I got Choco to gold. Everywhere I went was via the chocobo. Thank God for tons of forests around the world.

you could get the gold one, once you had access to all the continents. i think when i had the ship i had up to the white or the red

I liked that Cargo ship that you ride on after you leave the village of Dali and are heading to Lindbulm. I think one of the most touching scenes happens there, and it's when the black mages line up in front of Vivi to protect him from the Black Waltz. Then...

SPOILER!!:

The Black Waltz shoots lightning at the Mages and they go flying off the ship.... so sad.

So that's probably my favorite airship. I agree with Fate though, that once you get the Gold Chocobo, there's no better way to fly!

I complete forgot about the airships after I gained the Gold choco, but the Invincible was by far the most impressive airship on the game.

I actually liked the Hilda Garde's that you periodically had control of, the Invincible was good yea but I'd def be happy flying the Hilda Garde 3. Here's a pic:

I really liked all the airships but i guess the cargo ship is my favorite one.
Although i used the gold chocobo mostly instead of Invincible, but i really like the time when the mist was around, then there was airship traffic.

Those are my exact sentiments dude! I also liked the Red Rose, that was a pretty cool ship too.

Do you mean the last transformation that the chocobo undergoes to get his flying ability? No it is Gold which appears more like a lighter yellow in the game then say the flashing Gold chocobo of FF VII

It was small and fast and just seemed cool to me. I really didn't like many of the airships that I saw on FFIX. They mostly just looked wierd...
