so with theway the leveling works in this game everything levels with me right? so imthinkin i kinda want to level quite a bit just to make the bosses a little harder to kill and just to make it overall more unforgiving.or atleast im hoping that will work anyone find it considerably harder afterleveling up a lot?

btw for those that asked me to keep them posted on my playthrough i just got the brothers gf and will be headin back to deling city to get stabbed with an overly big icicle

I find that some monsters are an absolute nightmare to face off against when my characters are leveled up quite a bit. Ruby Dragons come to mind first. They'll kill you dead pretty darn quickly.

So yeah, you're making the game more difficult by leveling up your characters, but shouldn't be too much of a problem if you have good magic junctioned to your stats.

Also, about the bosses in this game: I'm pretty sure they have a level cap, so once you reach and get passed a certain level, they don't get any more difficult.

10 or 11 years ago I played through the game a second time and got absolutely everything and leveled to 99. The game was easier than at lower levels by alot. Though I did have a lot of ultima magic and whats the other strong one to get... aero? I had 40 or so of the ultima magic on Squall's str and he was a beast. That was actually one of the first things I had ever looked up online for video games. Where to find Ultima magic? It was at random spots on the world map if I remember correctly. Haven't played it since though so maybe my memory is just foggy.

ha well im just lookin for ways to make it as hard as possible without doing a lame challenge and im gunnin for 100percent complete minus the pocket station shit or whatever its called..... guess i shouldnt call it 100 percent then but whatever yall know what i mean.

The hardest way of playing FF8 I found was levelling to 100 without any stat bonuses. Shockwave Pulsar deals max damage to whole party without shell, and your hp will be too low to survive without holy war or a lucky phoenix summon (with no stat maxing)
