First off if I was in FF7 I would shit all over my self. Then I would run into the wilderness and get in a random battle with something. Then I would use some sweet ass materia. After this was over I would go to Cosmo Canyon, and live there. The scenery is amazing, and I would be able to chill outside for hours, and stare at it...

The top of Shinra headquarters ideally. Theres just something about that building that defines epic. Plus you can see pretty far like Rufus watching weapon getting a hole punched in him but somehow missing the bomb/missile/ball of energy heading straight for him.
Or somewhere in Junon with a good view of the Sister Ray. Again, epic.

If we're just talking in the events of the main game, I would live in Kalm. It's close to Midgar so I could visit easily, but far enough away to where my home wouldn't be shrouded in darkness forever. Seriously, it's like, never daytime in Midgar.

I would love to live at Chocobo Ranch, it reminds me of a place where I used to live as a kid, and it would be nice to raise Chocobos. Also since I'm really fond of nice weather and I love the sea Costa del Sol would be another great place for me to live.

Probably Chocobo ranch.
Most likely in the Mideel region. The weather there isn't too hot or too cold, and it's got nice landscapes. I wish Banora hadn't been destroyed.

Though seriously I'd live in either Wutai for the scenery or Midgar (topside) for the shops and a more 'civilised' setting (not to mention higher employment rate what with Shin-Ra needing decent military staff).

No offense to anyone or anything, but I'd rather shoot myself that live in a place where someone felt it was necessary to throw in the words town, city, ville, etc into the name.
Seems redundant to me.
Icicle would be the town i would live in. i love the snow and ice, and if its dark there as often as it looks i would feel at home, id create a training center to keep people fit and work on weapons training, then id start up a personal expeditions on killing monsters, making heated flooring using the hot springs that exist in the area.
I was just making a joke. Besides, there is no proof that other people don't have long conversations in the inn about what they were doing five years ago.
