trouble finding Summon Alexander (help)

i cant seem to find alexander i know iam suppose to find someone in the icicle area but the only thing ive found is like a blue box thing in a cave that keeps saying leave me alone. heeelp

Before you enter into that cave and talk to the person sitting inside, you gotta go through the hot springs area first. When you get there, there's a little area that you can have Cloud touch the springs. After doing that, head back to that secret cave and talk to the person you find. The person will get up and say something like "How dare you touch me with those filthy hands from the Hot Springs!" and you'll fight Snow. After you win the fight, the Alexander Materia will be on the ground where the person was sitting.

Where is that hot springs area?can u direct me to thre.

It's the area marked with the number 3, and the springs are the part where there's a pathway going between two steaming pools of water. Keep searching around the edges of the water to find where you can touch the water.

You can bring up the map by pushing the square button on your controller. It won't tell you where you are, so you gotta watch for identifying landmarks to see where you're at and where to head to next.

The easiest waty to find this summon (awesome as it is!!!) when snowboarding when the course splits go right both times. When you finsh the course and land keep heading north-west till you reach the Hot Springs. When you get there go down to the waters edge and touch it. That is the easy part now for the more complex part. Continue on until you get to the white screen where you can place landmarks. Head towards the middle wher ther is a small hut and enter it. As soon as you exit the cave start heading west placing landmarks constantly while doing so. When the wind starts to blow stop and wait for it to pass. When it has passed face yourself in the direction your landmarks are going and repeat this strategy until you exit this area. Follow this area to the west and eventually you should see a rock face with an entrance in the side. Go inside here and address the woman there she will scold you and attack you (do not worry she is not very strong just as strong as the normal Snow enemy) after her demise she will drop the Alexander materia and you can then just pick it up as simple as that!
