How did Red have kids?
He was the last of his race, but 100 (I think) years after the events of 7 he has a couple of kids running with him, how did that happen? I have looked for any answers in the game but I cant find any
Please please please explain this to me

In Before Crisis Final Fantasy VII, there's a female from Red XIII's species shown. Her name is Deneh, and she may be the mother of those cubs. Red XIII may have said he was the last of his kind to protect Deneh from being sought after and captured...I dunno, I haven't played Before Crisis, as it hasn't been released outside Japan.

Where exactly does that put Nanaki's race in terms of the next generation? Looks like we have another Adam and Eve story on our hands.
He might not have been the last of his kind, and he might or might not have known that. If you've only just played the original game, and none of the others, it wouldn't really make sense...
I don't know much about Before Crisis, but there's another of his race in that game, as Dodie mentioned, but the wiki page seems to sum it up to some degree.

This also makes you wonder about the whole Red XIII age discrepancy...........he's about 50, which is said to be comparable to 15 in human years. This should mean he has a maximum lifespan of about 350, but AC says he's still running around 500 years after FF7.

When Red and Co visited Cosmo Canyon after the boss figth in the Cave of th Gi Bugenhagen speaks to Red alone and says he should go with Cloud and the others and that in doing this he may find his lifes mate. So I think either Bugenhagen knows there are some others of his race somewhere and if he doesn't know then there must be another female of his kind somwhere cuz you need 2 sexes to have kids so it is common sense when you really think abbout it.
