    Pandoras Box?

Ok so I'm trying to beat FF7 fully, every item, materia etc... And every enemy skill, well I get to the dragon zombie, and I get the skill, but then I can't leave that part of the crater.... Can someone help explain to me how I'am suppose to keep pandoras box because there's absolutely no strategy guides for this...

You can't leave? Where are you? There's always a way out unless you go ahead with the finale. Unless you've got that horrible stupid glitch that I had where you can't climb back up the stalagmite when the road splits?

You should be able to encounter the Dragon Zombie at another location besides on your way to fighthing Sephiroth. Obviously you can't save or exit at that point. Dragon Zombies are found obviously on the bottom on the way to Sephiroth, or on the right path in the Northern Cave

    Pandora's Box
    Star #24
    MP Cost: 110
Learn From: Dragon Zombie*** (One time only!)
    Location: Northern Cave
Game's Description: Big damage on all opponents, ignores defense
    Agent0042's Rating: 3 Stars

Agent0042's Special Notes: To learn this, get into a random battle with a Dragon Zombie. You can find them either on the right path in the Northern Cave, or on the path to Sephiroth. (Sort of a useless option, since you can't save your game at that point.) Make darned sure before getting into the battle that you have all four Enemy Skill materia equipped. Good to go. Good? Now, kill the Dragon Zombie as fast as possible, healing if he causes damage to you. Before dying (if he has enough MP left, you should be okay if you killed him quickly) he will cast Pandora's Box. All of your characters should learn it and you'll be good to go. If something went wrong, reset, as that was your only opportunity in the game to learn Pandora's Box. Also note that if Dragon Zombie doesn't have enough MP to cast this at the end of the battle, you will get the message "Dragon Zombie's skill power has been used up" and will lose your only opportunity to learn this skill. As for the skill itself, it hits all opponents for massive non-elemental damage. Like most Enemy Skills near the end of the game, not particular useful if you already have good weapons and magic

    Re: Pandoras Box?

things I've used to survive Dragon Zombie is in my E.Skills. I use Death Force (cause I couldn't remember if it caused death) and the Ribbon (an accessory, cause I couldn't remember if its a status thing). After that, I make sure that by the end of the battle (or before I use life on him) I put Dragon Force on each character, twice on my weakest because it ups defense. After that, i put up either Wall or Big Guard. I don't recommend using Regen because in 7 sometimes that can mean the difference between having just a little left over and dying. Also, you might try moving your members to the back of the row if you aren't there already. Don't know why but sometimes that helps even with magic.

    Trust Me.

Alternatively, avoid all that messing about and come to challenge of acquiring every enemy skill with sufficiently levelled party members with respectable SPR and VIT stats!

When at the first fork, take the path to the right. If you're in the Swamp area, you went the wrong way.

Proceed through that area until you get to the Exit (looks like a pile of bones you travel down to get to the end of the North Cave).

However, instead of going through the exit, take a sharp left into a "hidden" area. Run around there for a while, and it should appear eventually.

I know most everything about the game. Simply post a new thread for any question and I'll try and catch it with an answer.

    Re: Pandoras Box?

beta is from midgar zolom, you have to get him to low hp for him to use it on you. You also have to kill the zolom for you to get the Enemy skill. I tried to get Beta at a super low level one time, and even though I survived the blast, the Zolom did his little tail whip thing and kicked me out of the battle, so I got zero exp/gil and I didn't "learn" the skill.

Then again this one is kind of on the outs with me if she doesn't straighten up and fly right so that means I will be back in it for the thrill of the kill. Got some in the reserves. Even got a rePETEr (<---- like that ay? AYYYYY?) on the back burner.

Block: I do like the rePETEr except it kinda makes it sound like you're going to pork Pete. No homo.
