I always played 7 on the PC because of D3D acceleration and thought it looked better than the PS1 version.

Been trying the NPC reconstruction mod - i like it. In case someone hasn't seen it:

That's actually kind of neat. It just took the battle sprites and switched them out, but I imagine it makes the game as a whole look a lot prettier. What does the world map look like with this mod?

There's another mod for the world, that makes everything higher res, and replaces the textures.

I seen screens and it looks amazing. But I can't find it anywhere. Gotta realise, these mods are actually pretty old. Its called avalanche graphic overhaul or something. I found a couple links, but they were at megaupload, and the whole site is quarantined by the US government

As mentioned, I am the mod king when it comes to this. I have all the mods and instructions on how to make them work together. I reluctantly share this information anymore though because once I made the thread, i think its gained over 10,000 views now and random people join the forum just to ask me to send it to them. Im only willing to send to active members, so if you've ever heard of the ff7 AC mod (the real one with all characters and fenrir instead of chocobo) then send me a PM and ill organise to send it to you.

I been looking for it for a few days now. Has it been removed from the internet? When I go to the team avalanche forums and blogs, all the download links are removed.

Idk if you sent a email yet but its all good. Turns out my friend who I play diablo with iii was pretty cool with the qhimm guys. Idk if this forum permits it, but he uploaded a torrent with alll their graphic mods and patches to work on newer windows versions and hardware.

Was messing with it last night...with all the mods together on my gaming rig, I feel like I'm in the future playing ff7 on a playstation 10 :|
