Quick question, In FF7 is there any other way to see the enemy's name besides using sense. If there is tell me how.

It would help me out if you could say what equipment, materia, and levels you have for your characters, but here's a basic run-down to beat Safer-Sephiroth (I assume that's the boss fight that you're on).

Characters should be at least above level 50, and have their level 4 limit breaks learned. Characters should also have healing materia and plenty of MegaElixers for when he does the Heartless Angel attack. If you have Knights of the Round materia, it can deal out a lot of damage and make the battle go by much faster. Also, equipping the Ribbons accessory are an excellent way to avoid all the nasty status attacks that Sephiroth can dish out.

Anyway, Safer-Sephiroth attacks in a fairly consistent pattern, and it goes like this:

    1. Wall or DeSpell - If he does Wall, cast DeBarrier to take it away.

    2. Deen (if DeSpell was cast on his previous turn) or Shadow Flare (if Wall was cast on his previous turn) - These attacks can cause some nasty status ailments. Make sure to have Esuna or items that can heal your party.

    3. Unnamed physical attack

    4. Safer∙Sephiroth flies up into the air - You need characters that can hit at a long range, or equip Long Range materia assuming that you have it. Magic attacks also work well (other than Earth and Gravity attacks), and if you have Knights of the Round, use it.

    5. Pale Horse - causes Sadness, Poison, and Frog if your characters aren't immune from those attacks. Heal accordingly

    6. Super Nova - After this attack is done, heal immediately, possibly with a MegaElixer if you have some. This attack also charges your limit break gauges fast, so you can use your Limit Breaks when you need to.

    7. Break (if Safer∙Sephiroth's HP > 25%) or Heartless Angel (if Safer∙Sephiroth's HP < 25%)- Heartless Angel will reduce all character's HP to 1, so use MegaElixers or other healing items to get your HP back up. He will only start using Hearless Angel when his HP is getting low, so when you see it happening, you know he's almost defeated.

    8. Safer∙Sephiroth drops back down, and starts the pattern again from 1.

Since you know the attack pattern now, you can adjust your fight accordingly. Keep attacking with all you have, when you don't need to heal that is. And GOOD LUCK~! Hope that was of some help to you.

You want to buy this shirt and/or this shirt for me, don't you. They cost under 4000 Yens (~25 €). When you have bought both/either one of them (I'm 182 cm tall), contact me with PM and I will give you address where to send that packet. Thank you.

I've got a question, In FF7 is there a bestiary, like dawn of souls and IV ADVANCE? Do you get the bestiary after you beat the game or something?

So do I have to track all of them down like dawn of souls. Or there isn't one; and it doesn't matter if i missed any enemy right?

No. FF 7 doesn't have bestisary. If you end game, it just ends. You can't see any bestisary. It just ends. So you don't have to track all monsters.

Other quick question, would anyone mind telling me which of these FF games have besitary and which doesn't.
I know that these have bestiary.
    Dawn of Souls
    IV ADVANCE

Does any of these below have a bestiary within the game like dawn souls and IV?
    FF8
    FF9
    FFX
    FFX-2

EDITED BY TACO: Uh... this is the wrong place for that. You might want to start an entirely new topic in General Final Fantasy for this one.

[QUOTE][i'm having an issue with Red XIII's level 4 limit break, cosmo memory. obviously, i obtained from defeating lost number when you crack the safe in shinra mansion, and now it's an item in my list, however it's not allowing me to set Red XIII's limit level to 4, so i can use it... and it won't let me give it to him through the item list, so what am i doing wrong, or do i have to get past Disc 1 before he's allowed to use it, and if so, will it automatically let me set his limit level to 4?]

If I'm not mistaken, you can give the Cosmo Memory to Red XIII after he has both his level 3 limit breaks.

It's easy! Just walk the same way down as you came up. I don't remember so well but, first go inside again, and then go to the first elevator you see. And you will meet a boss (don't remember the name) After you beat him all happens by itself.

If I remember right it is that big circlurar (or something) thing where is rock in the middle after you have walk right or left path. You should see it bouncing there. And sorry, I don't have picture of it and I didn't find it from Google.

I think they should come out with a game or something saying where Kadaj came from. Is he Sephiroths brother or just a clone?

He is Sephiroth...as is Loz and Yazoo. They are fragments of his spirit and have nothing to do with any clone project or anything like that.

    They are shinigami...physical ghosts.

UUH where is the counter materia in the northern cave, When I played it on my friend's game I found it and he didn't even know where it is. Now that I have my own guy I can't find it. LOL. I'll explore more in the cave. Also, Any good places to train your materia? I want to train my kotr more so I can do more damage and get w summon. I'm looking for my perfect combo, all counter materia off, mastered w summon kotr and mime. So I need a good place to train it. I've got the apocolypse to help the growth.

  25. #25
Counter? Theirs two I know of but not sure which is which. There's the one on that column before the boss where you have to go down one of the chutes at the top to reach. I think it's the second one though. When you beat the boss it's right where the boss was. Yeah, it that one. I remember cause the game shows it as yellow on the field but it's a purple in the menu.

...you don't get it, you destroy it. There will be a plot based mini-game in which you destroy the red Shin-Ra 'leader' submarine. After this, you will have access to a submarine of your own. If you go underwater with it you will find the Red leader submarine underwater. If you go near it a cut scene will happen in which you retrieve the Huge Materia from it...this is all you can do that involves the Red submarine.

Your friend probably failed to sink the red sub right after you beat Carry Armor in the Underwater reactor, thats probably why. When you go back to get the other submarine on the way to the reactor it is red instead of greyish blue.
