Probably the Materia. But besides that, I LOVED the Gold Saucer <3 Crazy motorcycle, or G- Bike was my favorite game. Second would have to be the snowboarding game.
Final Fantasy VII was a great game. I'm sure that anyone who has played it has one or more favorite parts. It doesn't have to be just things like characters or items, but also scenes and details. Personally my favorite part was all of the materia you could get and combine. That just amazes me because you could make a weak attack become a death/knights of the round/2x damage/ultima attack with just the swing of Cloud's sword.
Probably the Materia. But besides that, I LOVED the Gold Saucer <3 Crazy motorcycle, or G- Bike was my favorite game. Second would have to be the snowboarding game.

I liked the Materia system aswell. The Gold Saucer was good fun. You can't go wroung with the Battle Arena. I also enjoyed making all the different breeds of Chocobos and then raceing them at the Gold Saucer. One of my favorite parts of the game though, would have to be when you invade the Shinra Corparation. Getting throught the Soldiers. Having to sneek in. Fighting the Rufus, and the battle in the Elevator. But all around was when you had to keep the Soldiers from hurting the truck by slashing them off their motorcycles. Then the boss battle at the end. But I love the game all around. It is my most favorite Final Fantasy.
Life or death. Nethire are consider to someone like me. For I am both. Nor death can happen to me, or can life. There is no other like me. For I am one with myself. Nobody else is. That is the way of the immortal. That is the way of Ulteka Mako.
The entire game was my favourite. The only dislike was Emerald and Ruby Weapon. And Aeris' death - that sucked donkey balls.
But the Materia System was my favourite out of all the Final Fantasy games. It felt a lot more creative, and it was pretty fun trying to find good combinations of Materia.
I love this game as well, but there's one scene in particular that sticks out in my mind that I think is just awesome. It's when the plate over Section 7 falls, and you hear the people screaming and panicking. Then the camera pans away to where you see President Shinra in his office and he is just standing and looking out from his window at the horrible destruction. The thing that makes this scene stand out is the music that plays while the President is witnessing all of this going on. It adds something to the overall feeling that you get about the power that Shinra has, and the force they use to crush anyone that stands in the way without giving a damn about anything else.

I also liked the materia system.

Please don't hate me but my favorite part was the scene where Sephiroth kills Aerith. I know it may be crazy, but it's true.
I also liked how the game had some twists to it and the limit breaks in it as well.
I think the game is great in so many ways it is difficult to pick a specific part but if I did choose one I would say some of the cool cutscenes and the materia system as a whole, like you said you can combine materia in so many ways it is just awesome!!!
