Aaaaaaaand the next sequel is....

So what do you all think the next sequel/ prequel/ intermediary of the Incredible Compilation of All Things Final Fantasy VII, EVER, will be?

My guess is a cell phone game, where you work in a sweatshop in the seedy underbelly of Junon (or possibly Wutai) in order to manufacture more of the 1/35 Soldiers and the Cait Sith stuffed mogs. It would also help to tell the story of how Cait Sith was manufactured in a sweatshop, stuffed into a box, and then sent to a warehouse in Junon.

The game will really pick up when a low level Shinra employee, perhaps a secretary for the Turks is told to place an order for one oversized stuffed mog. The real fun starts when you have to actually place YOUR OWN credit card number into the game, so Square can slowly siphon money from you on a bi-monthly basis.

The game gets exciting shortly after that though, where you have to track the package on the shipping company's website, as well as assuming control of the shippers, who don't care much for their jobs, so they manhandle the box at every step along the way.

The real fun comes when you play as the mail clerk, who has to deliver the package to the 60th floor of the Shinra Tower, at which point, you win!

I agree with you that the cell phone would be the likely most likely place. I'de expect to see gold sacuer games though. The sweat shop game wouldn't go over to well with the PC american public.

If not, a full remake for PS3.

hahaha, these are so creative i love them! I WISH they would make a game like that.

It'll probably be a cell phone chocobo breeding game or something that sounds for for about 5 minutes.

Well if nothing else I can say for sure the initials will be EC. We have Advent Children(AC), Before Crisis(BC), Crisis Core(CC) and Dirge of Cerberus(DC). So by that logic the name will be assuming that the game will turn out as Pete suggests...........Eternity of Civil service????????????????????

If I was to take a guess... The next game would probably aim to tie up whatever we saw in the final final scene of Dirge of Cerberus.

Pete you keep talking about when the real fun is coming in, but you left out the side quests!

Oh and don't worry, once you get to the 60th floor, the game isn't over. They refuse the package and you have to take it all the way back, being chased by Shinra goons. The all-new Ultra Realistic Feedback feature is a bonus in this game. It actually feels like they're killing you!

My thought of what the next game should be is a drunken fat Sephiroth trying to make money for a living but he is failing at finding a job so you try to improve his character traits in the game and get him employed and make enough gil so he can take his revenge on cloud and co. Sounds like the perfect FFVII sequel to me.

My guess is that the next one will use 3D television and motion detection in creating something like Yuffie's ninja style adventure. Where you assume the role of Yuffie who has begun her training the the ninja arts of hairstyling and her quest to final figure out how to create the Cloud hair style. Most of the game will involve keeping customers coming back and using all the different style equipment to learn skills like Perm, and Layering. As her business grows you'll take the side quests of recruiting old friends to help in the beauty shop like getting Vincent to operate and flex his mad tanning salon skills, or Barret and his superb manicure skillz.

I hope the next sequel manuscript get eaten by a chocobo on the way to the production office, and then they turn the game into a "guess what the plot was going to be" game. We just don't need another FFVII game.

Unless it's a PS3 remake; then they just better hope it's good enough for me to part with £40.

Isn't feeling creative today.

I started to agree with you there too lol, but yeah I think FFVII is pretty much done, anything more is them trying to gain money from the millions of people who still consider this franchise #1 in the world.

Sometimes, you just gotta learn when to let go.

I would love for them to put all of the effort that they have into milking VII dry into making an FF game that didn't completely suck. Maybe stop using the same character designer, or yknow, shitty plots.

If I want any game it would be a re-make of the orginal ff7 but the rumours have different answers so no one really knows but a re-make would get my vote!!!
