I came across a Japanese commercial and there are a few advertisements like these. This is an ostrich representing as a real-life chocobo for FFIV. Hope you enjoy!

Maybe the guy in background was just being entertained by the ostrich? They must of brought a trained ostrich on the set when they recorded the ad.
That was really strange.... And seemed a bit pointless
