"WHERE IS THAT LAST FREAKIN DRAGON AT?!?!!? SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME BEFORE I GOT UTTERLY MADDER THAN I ALREADY AM!!!(which is near impossible)"
Don't know which you are missing, so here is where they all are:
1. Opera House
2. Top of Mt. Zozo
3. Narshe Caves
4. Fanatic's Tower
5. Ancient Castle
6. Phoenix Cave
7 & 8 Kefka's Tower
I need some help, im on the part where Duncan is in the Narshe cave's training and where is he?
If you are in the WoR go to Nikeah and fly directly north, you will be looking for 3 odd trees that look like a triangle on the next land mass. When you land walk into that cluster of trees with Sabin in your party. And bodda boom you are there. It is on the same continant as Narshe, to the North East.
Fly ^^? I can only get on a ship XD
But thx meier
So then you are in S. Figaro talking to Duncans wife then?
SPOILER!!:
If you have not got Sabin yet go to Tzen, he should be there.
Then follow the steps in my previous post.
If I am mis understanding what you are talking about PM me and I will try to walk you through it.
local buddy need exp. egg in Daryl's Tomb
??
I think it is through some wall near the end of the labyrinth
beats me:woot: rock on
There are a few rooms with headstones (gravestones) in them -- one of them has four, with four letters each on them. Those sixteen letters combine to form "ERAUQSSIDLROWEHT" -- backwards, that's "THEWORLDISSQUARE", or "The World Is Square". (Not only is this somewhat of a literal thing for FFVI, since the world map is a square, but it could also reflect upon Squaresoft.)
Anyway, once you read those, carve it into the blank one -- if you don't read them first, you'll end up with "Nothing appropriate comes to mind". When you carve that, it'll tell you exactly where to get the Experience Egg.
But if you want to just find out where it is ...
SPOILER!!:
I have a couple of questions:
Q1: Is it possible to unequip relics from party member that are unavilable? (such as when shadow takes off, or terry turns into an esper and flys away?)
Q2: I am having lots of difficulty getting Sabins Blitzs to work with the diagonal arrows (playing FF6A, on a DSlite, or GBmicro ), anyone have a suggestion?
Q3: Is there any benefit to having more than one of a tool for Edgar?
Thanks
I am not sure on a1 seeing I havent played that version of the game. I know in the SNES and the PSX port you were unable to reobtain them until they showed back up even using the guy in the airship that lets you unequip everyone.
a2: instead of mashing the button try rolling your finger around the d-pad.
a3: No, sell the extras.
Im having a problem getting terra back in the party in the world of ruin.
I saw her the first time, when she sais she was too weak to fight or something like that.
I lef to go get Locke, came back and can't get her to reappear. Duane keeps saying "I...I dont know what to do Kwhatever's pregnate.." and the kids just say that she's gone.
I've got Relm, Sabin, Locke, and Celis in the party.
am I doing something wrong?
Can't believe I actually remember this part and the last I played this was about 14 years ago, but was that before or after the place she's in gets attack? I know her place got attacked and it pissed her off, and she started to fight back after that, but I think I didn't get Terra back until I had like 6 or 7 characters so maybe your a bit early?
I'll try to remember more, but I hope this helps a little
Never mind, I figured it out.
The guide have tells lies.
Alright, FF6 was really sad for me because I was only able to play the beginning of the game. My copy of Anth. disappeared years ago. I really wanted to play through using Setzer because of his class abilities, but I didn't see if there was a "blue mage" character for FF6.
I just want to know for the future which character, if any, was the closest to a "blue mage"?
Strago's Lore command is absolutely equivalent to Blue Magic. On top of that, he's got the highest natural magic stat (non-modified by Esper use) out of everyone in the game.
Gau's command also is closest to a Blue Mage as well since he can also learn monster's abilities
Hunter/Beastmaster.... sure
He's actually right, it was a class in FFV, and by calling your animals they would use their abilities in battle. It's probably the closest description for Gau.
In any case, the reason I recommended Strago is because Strago is an actual Blue Mage who learns his Lore magic from his enemies.
By comparison, Gau is more of a mimic of sorts, learning the abilities themselves.
I digress, this is not the purpose of this thread.
With that comparison between Stragos and Gau, Lore Magic would be more of what I was looking. It sounds like Gau would be another varient of enemy skill, but how does Relm fit into it?
If she has to go through battles for new paintings of monsters (which is a guess), how do I beef up Relm and open up monster magic that way? How would Relm be used as an alternative to Stragos?
Relm isn't really an alternative, as she doesn't "learn" anything. Her "Sketch" ability uses an ability of the monster you use it on. Later, you should find the Fake Mustache, a Relic that changes "Sketch" to "Control", allowing her to take full control of an enemy (just like Confuse, a physical attack against that enemy will bring them out of her Control). She also has a high Magic stat, so I use her for that more than anything. (I was under the impression that she had the highest natural Magic Power than any other character, but now I don't know. Either way, it's high.)
Loco you are wrong there concerning Strago's magic stat. Relm is the character with the highest natural magic in the game here are the magic stats in FFVI base no Esper boosts...
Relm - 44
Terra - 39
Celes - 36
Mog - 35
Strago - 34
Shadow - 33
Setzer&Edgar - 29
Sabin&Locke - 28
Gogo - 26
Cyan - 25
Strago ranks # 5 in magic power all the girls are top 3.
So, I doidn't wait for Shadow on the Floating Continent. This means I'm screwed with regards to the Coliseum, I realize this. So, after Thamasa and the Coliseum the walkthrough I'm using says I should head to Jidoor, and do some stuff in the mansion. The thing is, the mansion isn't dark like my walkthrough says it should be. Can someone help me out here? Should I just head to the Pheonix cave? Can someone give me a list of things I can't do without saving Shadow? Playing the Advance version BTW.
I bet the Moogle Charm in the Coliseum, is there anyway I can get another?
You can bet the Lich Ring or Snow Scarf in the coliseum, or receive it as a prize at the banquet at Imperial Palace. Check here for how to: Imperial Palace - The Final Fantasy Wiki has more Final Fantasy information than Cid could research
Hey, sorry this wasn't answered yet. As far as Jidoor goes, you should be able to simply turn the lights off -- check the lamps by the stairs. I'm not sure how exactly you're "screwed" in the Coliseum, unless you primarily use Shadow to fight for your wagers -- you cannot bet the specific dirk to gain him into your party again, unfortunately, but everything else in the Coliseum is the same.
If the mansion in Jidoor still doesn't work, it's probably because you haven't checked out the cave on the Veldt. You'll also gain a Behemoth Hide or two in there -- I don't often use the characters that can equip that, but I believe it can be wagered for a Snow Muffler, which is excellent equipment for Gau and Mog (as well as Umaro, but you don't have much of a choice with him wearing it).
I'm not sure how far into the World of Ruin you are, but don't try the Pheonix Cave until you can support two parties. And as far as what you can't do without Shadow ... well, here.SPOILER!!:
I was at the final battle and the 3rd beast used Calmness and killed all my characters by using it multiple times in a turn. Is there anyway to defend against this?
I wasn't sure when I first read your problem. I've never run into Calmness. There are accessories that raise your magic defense. You can try getting the same good accessory onto each character.
My first thought was party member choice. Stragos can get a spell called Big Guard. It places your magic defense high and makes it hard to take damage. If you're using Setzer, I would try replacing him with Shadow. Shadow gets an unique ability allowing him to evade a lot of attacks. You'll also be getting rid of Setzer's bad roll out of the equation.
